Staff was super friendly! Very accommodating. Our stay was perfect. The bed was really comfortable. The view is absolutely gorgeous, especially at high tide. There are picnic tables where you can watch the sunrise & eat at! 10/10 would recommend.

The rooms were perfect for our stay and we were close to everything Bar Harbor had ro offer. Dave, who was managing the hotel, was kind and helpful during the stay. Was friendly and talkative and really quite nice! Do what you can to keep him!

I couldn't book a hotel at Acadia Bahaber, so I booked here instead—it was close by and everything was perfect.

Dave the manager here deserves a salute for his level of leadership, hospitality and commitment to customer service and customer experience! He made our stay feel like at home, loved the views from our room! The room was as spot clean, air condition was set to a very nice temperature for us in this hot weather and a big welcome from Dave made our stay in Maine the best adventure ever! We can’t wait to be back enjoy this wonderful listing ran by Dave the best!!!

Dave the manager(?) was really great, he gave us a printout of local restaurants with their hours, and even highlighted his personal favorites. The motel itself was clean and quaint. The view is unbeatable.

Great stay at Island View even though it was the hottest weekend of the season! Staff was very attentive and happy to help. Gave recommendations for local restaurants and things to do!

Location is very good and the scenic beauty from hotel is fantastic. No breakfast, bathroom fan is not working, trash bin very less in room. But for 1 to 2 night stays is worth it.
