Very friendly staff. Rooms were well set up, very clean and the private patio was great. Resort has multiple pools, outdoor activities, restaurant and bar. Bar is a little on the pricey side, however made good cocktails. We would definitely go back.

Room (Ocean View Suite) was amazing. Lots to do on site. Shuttle to drive you wherever you want to go. Close to outside restaurants, breweries, etc. Staff were super helpful with recommendations. Would highly recommend !!

The room was amazing. The view and back patio from the room is stunning - and you can walk right out to the beach! The room was clean and had high ceilings and was very well thought out. The bar closes at 10:45pm, so be prepared for that.

4 out of 5 stars – Islander Resort My wife and I booked a last-minute anniversary getaway and decided to stay in the U.S. instead of our usual all-inclusive trips to Cabo. This place turned out to be a great find. We made the five-hour drive from St. Petersburg, and from the moment we arrived, the vibe was relaxed and exactly what we needed. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the poolside concierge service really stood out. We rented a cabana for the day, and the service was excellent, attentive without being over the top. The property is beautiful and well-maintained, and the room was comfortable. That said, it’s not quite the all-inclusive experience we’re used to, which is the main reason for the 4-star rating. The biggest drawback was the cost of food and drinks. While everything tasted good, the pricing felt excessive. A bottle of house wine, a Cuban sandwich, and a flatbread came out to around $160, which was hard to justify. We also had a couple of windy days, so only one perfect beach day, but that’s just weather. Overall, we’d definitely recommend it for a relaxing getaway. If you’re budget-conscious, consider stopping by Publix or checking out nearby restaurants.

An amazing resort. Front desk staff was incredible. I got an upgrade to a beautiful suite upon arrival. The property is beautiful. Pools, bars, restaurants, activities, and lots of spaces to sit and relax including gas fire pits and couches for evening wind-down. Loved it!

My husband and I stayed here for our baby moon, and we honestly couldn’t recommend this place more! After doing a painful amount of research, it was difficult to decide between this resort and a few other ones we found, but I am so glad we went with The Islander. The grounds are beautiful, the staff is lovely, and the setup of the resort is all you could hope for! We truly forgot we were still in the U.S. and not on a tropical island. We also lucked out with our room location, being right near the pool, so we didn’t have to get out there early to “reserve” chairs, didn’t have to go far to use the bathroom, etc. It’s a family-friendly resort, but it’s not like it’s impossible for adults without children to relax. I’d recommend The Islander to anyone looking to stay in Islamorada.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Stay – Already Want to Go Back! We had an amazing stay at Islander Resort and honestly didn’t want to leave! From the moment we arrived (even with a late check-in), Angela at the front desk set the tone for the entire trip. She was incredibly welcoming, fun, and went above and beyond—giving us a full tour of the property and even personally driving us to our villa since we had no idea where we were going. She immediately put us in vacation mode, and that level of service continued throughout our stay. We stayed in an oceanfront villa, which was absolutely beautiful. The setup was perfect—one king bedroom separate from the living area, plus a pullout couch that would easily work for kids or teens. The view was stunning, and having a front porch lounge area right on the water made it even better. What really stood out about this resort is how it manages to feel both secluded and social at the same time. There are so many little tucked-away lounging areas where you can relax in peace, but also plenty of space for larger groups to gather and enjoy. It’s perfect whether you’re traveling as a couple, with friends, or with kids. Speaking of kids/teens—the amount of activities available is incredible. There’s truly something for everyone, which made it a great fit for our family. Another unexpected highlight was the golf cart taxi service around the property—such a unique and convenient touch. Plus, using the Freebee app to get around Islamorada made everything so

The Islander Resort was a completely unexpected gem! The property was beautiful and well maintained; the rooms were precious - well decorated and appointed, each had it's own private patio, and very clear; the staff were all friendly; the views were fantastic; and we could not have asked for a better experience.

i,m 5"10 and the shower in room 135 is way to low. at 71 years young to go out the back door is way to hard to open.BAR; Bar is to high,the foot stand are to low and the lights at the bar in front of the TVs makes no sense.There are not enough lounge chairs on the beach and not enough of the cabanas(there only 3).Dinner was great except no bread or salad with the meal for the price.And you need to pack the bocce ball court so you can actually enjoy it.
