Although the room we stayed in was large and tidy, it is obvious that the furniture is tired. The location is good because it is close to the public areas. Despite the fact that the hotel is being renovated, certain activities are restricted due to lack of rain, but the staff manages to do their job very well.

Unquestionably one of the nicest sunsets in the park is the good one. The forest view from my patio king unit was beautiful and well worth the extra money. The pioneer grill was better than anticipated in terms of the portobello mushroom burger and brownie and our servers were friendly. It has a good view trail in the lunch tree hill loop the bad the place is too big and impersonal and at least during this time of year caters to over crowds and tour groups. The layout of my room was questionable. The bandstand was so big that I couldn't completely open the back patio door. It is not on the lake and there appears to be no direct pedestrian access to the lake. Signal Mountain is a better location with less expensive lodging. The front desk staff failed to mention that the sun sets behind the tons several minutes before the actual sunset time, so we missed it.

Very good resort hotel. Beautiful views of the tons, particularly sunsets and sunrises. A very busy and popular place. The restaurant was difficult to enter. But worth the effort. The rooms were a decent size and very comfortable. The bathroom was modern, and the toiletries were of good quality. Its a huge hotel. The restaurant has large picture windows to maximise the view. The food was excellent. The menu was what youd expect. Lots of meat! Everything we had was delicious. The staff is evidently hardwired, but they are helpful. Breakfast was a buffet, but the quality was very good. Did I mention the view? Stunning.

Despite its reputation, Jackson Lake Lodge is a well-known and celebrated lodging. Its position is stunning. One of the few places where you might see a moose or bear while eating breakfast from the large windows is through this location. It's valuable to have your camera and binoculars with you at all times. Our accommodation was nice and of decent quality. The apartment was tidy. Better be expensive for the least expensive. During our visit, there wasn't much dining available, as many national parks have done during these couid. Make reservations well in advance, bring your own food, or prepare for a very lengthy drive. A significant improvement is currently taking place. Most of the structure didn't interfere with anyplace you needed to go. Trails that connect to the property and trails that generally lead around the property on park grounds are available. Even if you don't intend to remain at the hotel, these trails are suitable for walking on. Jackson Lake Lodge does, however, commit the same concocted faux extra credit card charges that other hotels are doing these days. They billed me a few days later after the hotel was originally paid. I realize most people don't mind reconciling their credit cards anymore for faux charges, but I do. Anyhow, keep copies of all receipts on hand. We stay in the Jackson Lake Lodge, a mountain lodge with a mountain view for our family of 5 of us. Having a porch with a million dollars view was well worth the extra money. There was plenty of storage and space in the room. There were elk and moose on our deck. We could also see the Milky Way from the front porch with naked eyes. The crew cleaned our room and made new towels available midway through our stay, which was a nice touch. The staff was also very welcoming. I will return someday.
