We stayed in the general's quarters and found the cottage to be charming, comfortable, and very clean. Our stay was over the halloween weekend and owner Amy really went out to decorate the inside of the inn so it looked great. Breakfast both Saturday and Sunday morning was amazing. I plan to return in the future.

This hotel has a long weekend, but we won't be going back here. We visited Antietam in Sharpsburg. This place is our last stop on our road trip, our stay there has a history of monuments, and we loved it. We couldn't leave because of how comfortable the bed was. Chris and Amy were very accommodating and cooked a wonderful breakfast for their guests. We stayed in the General's Room and enjoyed reading on the balcony in the evenings.

The location is very strategic, near Antietam battlefield, just walking distance from the hotel, also the countryside is stunning. The room is in the Generals' quarters, which is probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in.

This place was recommended by us, the staff were very attentive and good in their service, and they will give you a room. The room was nice, and the breakfast was awesome.

We were very comfortable staying 3 nights in the captain's quarters. Breakfast was excellent, and Chris and Amy were generous hosts. In the dining room, coffee, tea, sodas, and fresh cookies were provided. Our room had an excellent do describing the battle and antietam, as well as some excellent books about local civil war history. Sharpsburg is perfect for trips to Antietam, Shepherd'stown, Harper Ferry, and Gettysburg. I would love to return and cycle along the Co Canal.
