Funcionários super atenciosos, pedi para mudar de quarto porque a janela dava para o barulho da casa de máquinas de ar condicionado do prédio vizinho. Tem café, chá disponível no quarto. Máquina de gelo, microondas e água potável no térreo. A localização é excepcional pertinho da Union Square, do Cable Car e do metrô. Ficaria de novo.

Was great for what we needed. An older building on the edge of Union Square. Would stay again for a long weekend. Few amenities but breakfast pastries and coffee were perfect for our start of the day. Clean and friendly.

The carpets need to be refreshed ASAP! But thankfully they provide slippers and the bed was super comfy, sheets plus towels and everything else was super clean. So for the affordable price, certainly worth it!

King George Hotel is a GEM for everyone. We saw couples, singles and families here. Located walking close to everything worth seeing in downtown. The hotel staff is friendly and professional and the rooms are clean and comfy. The area was surprisingly safe, you will definitely see a few colorful people but the hype does not the match reality that the area is a bustling area were please live, shop and work. I will definitely stay with here again A+++++++++++

Excellent location and value for the money. The breakfast is so nice-- fresh pastries, fruit and coffee (even decaf). This was the best deal in town.

The location is excellent and secure parking across the road for $38 for 24 hr. Downstairs is beautiful and a great selection of activities in the bar area. The room is clean and tidy but dated, the bed was so comfy though! Breakfast selection was great and fresh and included in our price. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The King George Hotel is an older hotel and is perhaps best described as in the style of an older European pension. Room was exceptionally clean; overall I found the hotel absolutely charming with spacious lobby and bar (open 4p-10p except Thursdays and Fridays); very steep circular steps at front and back; one small elevator. Be advised that deluxe rooms have air conditioning; standard rooms do not. If you want a refrigerator, request it right away as it's not automatic in the room (same with a fan). I was in 809, at the end of the hallway, a charming standard queen, and I happened to be there during an unusually hot period with city heat advisory -- in March 2026! Room was always very warm, but I got air circulating with propping open the door, opening the window, and having the fans go. Ceiling fan worked well. Note that this is not a complaint, but just an advisory for others who may read this and may expect something else. Also nearby are excellent food options (including 24 hour diner on weekends). I was there for a conference, and the King George was only around the corner from the conference hotels, whose conference rates were triple what I paid for the King George. Trader Joe's is in easy walking distance. People were great, shout-out to maintenance and housekeeping staff and to Jayson the bartender. The first floor lobby area and bar area, with TVs, plugs, tables, chairs, etc., was wonderful (but no air circulation). Free coffee and pastry in the morning too!
