Budget hotel. The room was clean, the showers were hot. The manager was friendly. The only thing I feel uncomfortable about is the wifi at the back of the hotel. Hardly had any service, and unfortunately in the Sioux City area, we were without phone data as well. There was no wifi at the hotel, and it was not as advertised. Our keys did not work on the outside door, so we had to walk all the way around every time. Huge inconvenience. We were also charged a 50-$ hold, which was never advertised anywhere on the website and was not advised when we called days before to confirm our reservation. Apart from those three, this hotel is fine for budget travelers!.

I have to say that the service was very welcoming, though. When I stayed here, I had the impression that I wasnt in a great location of the city. It was very unpleasant to watch people gathering in the parking lot and packing our belongings in. Our room wasnt particularly filthy at least, but it definitely required renovation. I dont anticipate the Hilton for the price, but I have stayed in a number of other motels that were significantly better organized for the same cost. I couldnt tell where the breakfast was located, if there were any. Reading other reviews, it seems like it never is because the pool wasnt working. They must stop touting that they have a pool. The ice machine on the first level is still running, and Ive just read reviews that say the same thing even though I only had to stay for one night. Perhaps it's time to purchase a new one. I just had to stay for one night, but I wouldnt stay again or longer. The train goes all night. Our air conditioner was very noisy, and when it opened, it would begin to bang! Then turn off and drip for a few minutes.
