We’ve stayed here twice now, and we will definitely come back. If you’re looking for a large, luxury resort, this isn’t it. But if you want a clean, cozy, welcoming place with character, it’s a great choice. The staff has been friendly, accommodating, and genuinely kind both times we’ve visited. The rooms are clean, pet-friendly, and surprisingly quiet once you’re inside. Even though the inn is near the bridge and airport, we barely noticed the outside noise from our room. The location is convenient to the beaches, restaurants, and everything we enjoy about Venice. We especially appreciate that the inn is pet-friendly, and there’s a dog-friendly beach just a short drive away, making it a great option for traveling with a pup. We also loved having the kitchenette with a two-burner cooktop, dishes, and the basics for preparing simple meals. The pool area is a relaxing spot to unwind after a day exploring the area. My only suggestion would be to update the mattresses. They’re firmer than I prefer and worn in, so I travel with a mattress topper, which makes all the difference for me. With more comfortable beds, this place would be nearly perfect. Overall, it’s an affordable, charming little inn with excellent service, a convenient location, and everything we need for a relaxing beach getaway.

Ill start by saying this was our second visit here. Not sure why this is considered a 2 star hotel because we would give it 10 stars if we could. Super easy check in, clean comfy rooms, a clean pool, private and just so homey feeling. The rooms have a cook top stove, a microwave, a decent sized fridge, a nice clean keurig, a big tv with all the apps, and absolutely everything you could need The managers are super inviting and friendly and the check in and out process couldnt have been any easier. We stayed 2 nights with 2 adults, 2 dogs and 2 kids and the room size was perfect. We had 2 beds and a pullout couch. We swam our hearts out and the dogs really enjoyed the walking trail right behind the hotel. I have seen people complaining about the noise level but honestly, at night we heard almost nothing. During the day, the planes are landing right next door and we absolutely loved watching them. The canal behind the hotel would be perfect for fishing and it was really cool hearing and seeing all the fish jumping. We find this hotel to be the perfect home away from home and you can not beat the price. There were towels, paper towels, cookware and even shampoo, conditioner and soap. 4 min drive to the beach and lots of stores and restaurants in the area. We found a crazy amount of shark teeth to bring home! If youre second guessing this place, dont. It has so much character and is just amazing. We are already planning our next visit! Thanks again, we will definately be back!

This was the cutest little boutique-type motel!! Debbie was delightful and such a gracious host/owner. She showed us to our room and some of the amenities in the room, as it had just been freshly cleaned. It had a little kitchenette in the room, which we didn’t use. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We love this place. Kon Tiki is by far our favorite place to stay in Florida. The hotel is small in size but the rooms are huge. It’s is always super clean the staff is amazing. The pool area is clean and the patio is awesome. We love to sit outside and watch the boats go by in the water. I hate to rate this place so high because everyone will want to stay here and may make it harder for us to get a room. But I have to be honest, it is a great place to stay and I cannot recommend it enough.

Room are themed and beautiful. Location is perfect for shopping Main Street and exploring beaches. Dogs are allowed in certain rooms, and there’s a walking path along the canal. Sharkys on the pier is a six minute drive. There’s a seafood restaurant next door that allows dogs in the patio with views of the canal and marina. My kids loved the pool and the putting green. Pool had floats available and adjustable golf clubs and balls in the office. Did not have breakfast- but everything is a quick drive or door dash. Rooms have stove tops/oven, large fridge and freezer, microwave and coffee maker. I will absolutely be staying here again!

This was our second time staying at the Kon Tiki Inn in Venice, Florida, and once again it was perfect. The king bed was comfortable, the kitchenette was convenient, and the room was spotless. The location couldn’t have been better—just minutes from the beach, great restaurants, and plenty of shops. A relaxing, easy, and enjoyable stay all around. I'd highly recommend the Kon Tiki Inn to anyone traveling to Venice, Florida.

This is the cutest, cleanest place we have found for the Venice beach area. The guy who runs the front desk is the sweetest man and showed up the different rooms. Every room has a theme. The pool and the area around it was very cute, I would stay here alone as a single woman with no worries. Cute rooms VERY clean and great location.
