We've been coming here for the past 6 years and its always a great place to chill. The only thing I dont like is that there is no music in pool. That would make it a lot more fun and enjoyable I think.

Wonderful resort with a lot to do! Beach was one of the biggest I’ve seen in the South Florida area and the best thing is that it’s private so no big crowds! Service from everyone was top notch!

My wife and stayed at Lago Mar for one week and it was just an all around great experience for us. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and courteous beginning with the front desk staff member at check-in. All of our servers at the restaurants on site were friendy and informative and very attentive. The pool and beach staff were also very professional along with the servers at the Promenade Bar and poolside. Our poolside server Nicole is the best! She's very friendly and treats you like family! We loved having the option of 2 pools during our stay that both have umbrellas and the seperate adult pool has cabanas at no charge! Try and find that at other resorts! The beach on the property is huge and has plenty of options for seating including free lounge chairs along with umbrellas and cabanas for a small charge for the entire day. We also enjoyed the different dining options onsite as well as room service. Room service prices were surprisingly reasonable and we used it frequently on days we didn’t feel like doing much. There's a few gift shops onsite as well in case you need anything you may have forgotten from home or snacks you might like, also for reasonable prices. The 3 things that stuck out most to us compared to other resorts is that Lago Mar doesn't tack on daily resort fees, there's no charge for parking (1 car limit per room) and the A/C was great and didn't have that humid muggy feeling like some hotel rooms have. My wife and I will definitely be returning
