We love that our room overlooks the lake and the proximity of the pools to us. The resort provided a smores kit (only 1 per reservation, regardless of how many nights you're staying) which was a hit for my kids. The resort also provides water activities for each day of our stay which was a thoughtful touch. The Amalfi restaurant was walking distance to the resort and their calamari was the best! We are looking forward to staying here again during the summer months

I had a wonderful stay at the Lakehouse Resort. While I wasn’t there for a vacation, I was staying nearby because my husband was having surgery at the hospital. During what was a very stressful time, the resort became a peaceful and comforting place for my 2-year-old and me. The pool was perfect for keeping my daughter entertained when we weren’t at the hospital, and having great restaurants right on the property made meals easy without needing to go anywhere else. The resort had every amenity I needed, which made an already difficult week much more manageable. What truly made my stay exceptional was the staff. Every person I interacted with was incredibly kind, compassionate, and supportive of my situation. They even upgraded me to a beautiful room, which made such a difference during an emotional and stressful time. I’m so grateful for the care and hospitality I experienced here. While I hope my next visit is under happier circumstances, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the Lakehouse Resort again. Thank you for making a difficult week so much more comfortable.

Only issue was bartenders. I almost felt neglected sitting waiting for 15 minutes at a non busy time was a little upsetting. Thank goodness Dev came and made it better with his personality.

Stunnnnning location at an amazing price. We came here after having to cancel from a previous hotel, and I am SO glad we did. This stay was fantastic. The staff were all so welcoming- even provided a toy and a s’mores kit for my daughter. The lake was beautiful, as was everything about the property. The room was cozy and clean. The bathroom was a great size and gave our family plenty of room to get ready for our day. The location was super convenient and we were able to go to local stores and restaurants super easily. We were actually on a trip to Legoland and San Diego, so this hotel wasn’t super close- but I’d stay here every time. Definitely worth a drive. We also tried Brickman’s on the property and it was delicious with a great staff! The coffee shop by the pool also had great pastries :) Thank you!

Stumbled upon this place and got lucky. They were unable to accommodate our desired room so they upgraded us and took care of the situation by comping a drink while we waited, courtosey specialty coffees for the am and hour free of paddle boat (which we didn't get to). We spent the next day at the pool, which was one of the hilights of our vacation as we were able to order food and drinks at the bar in the pool area with music and friendly staff. Great day! Would come to San Marcus just for this place!
