Rochelle

I stayed here overnight and enjoyed the location, breakfast and accommodations, added three more nights. Breakfast was off the charts! Hot, delicious eggs (and I'm not a complete fan) with two choices of plain or a scramble mix topped with cheese. The veggie (broccoli and cauliflower) was the best! For my four breakfasts, each scramble mix was different (a bacon, a jalapeño without seeds, etc.). There was also an option of French toast or pancake, different variation each day. Daily, sausage links (a bit over cooked) but nevertheless, delicious. There was fresh fruit, too, mostly apples. The breads consisted of white, wheat slices. I don't remember if there were bagels or English muffins. I think so. There were also huge muffins, not sure flavor. I didn't have any and they were all the same type, each day. This breakfast left you full. The restaurant The Wave, is adjacent and one morning breakfast was served in there. The bartender, the day I went in for ice, is very nice. The menu is nice, the prices I found excellent. However, I didn't try it because the day I wanted to get a lunch before the Red Sox's evening game, they were not open until later that afternoon after I needed to leave. I would have eaten there had I spent more time on site. Outside there are patio furniture to sit in front of the lake, which can also be seen from the breakfast room, with the full wall of windows. It is a lovely spot. Staff were nice. My room was clean, no microwave.

It’s a basic budget hotel with free continental breakfast and a very nice view of a lake and a pool . So be realistic with your expectations and you’ll be fine . Great choise under $100 a night .

The hotel looks a little dated, but everything was super clean and nice. The amenity is a great. The views of my window were great. The bathroom door was swollen and had a hard time opening and closing. I’m assuming from all the humidity, but staff is outstanding.

We loved the retro decor of the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. We loved being able to see the lake from our room; it was enjoyable to watch the sailboats out on the lake in the evening. The breakfast was fantastic.

Definitely worth the price of staying. As stated in other reviews, the inn is a little dated but cozy and comfortable. Wonderful view of the lake. Breakfast was awesome, and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely be revisiting.

We were extremely happy with our 3 night stay! Great price, clean rooms, nice location. My teenage daughter used the trail around the lake to complete her summer training sessions for running. Close to train stations into Boston. Breakfast was outstanding with a nice view of the lake. A different selection every day!

The Inn itself is quite tired looking. The rooms are not the best, their is not a small fridge and they do not smell the best. But, the pretty much bare essentials are provided and the bed was clean and actually much more comfortable than beds in many other hotels that are seemingly much less tired. The staff was helpful and very pleasant, the breakfast bar looked decent, but not overwhelming with items. I did take a muffin to go and it was very good. The restaurant was open for ordering food and sadly, my husband had just gotten dentures and could not eat but we would have tried it. It would be a place I definitely would consider again. My only wish above everything else is that it smelled more pleasant. An old place has a hard time achieveing that though.

We stayed one night. The price was good and the room was clean and quiet. My only complaint is the noisy bathroom fan always runs when the light is on. Not a biggie. The staff was helpful. Coffee always in the lobby. I didn't have the breakfast and the bar is closed on Mondays.

Best part about the hotel was Ibrahim. He was always there to help with any issues that we encountered or whenever we needed anything, he made sure we get it fast. I have never met anyone so passionate about customer service in the hospitality industry. He is just amazing. He was working there as if it was its own hotel and he wanted to make it the best in the whole Boston metropolitan area. Our best wishes are with him and the hotel. If you have Ibrahim, sky is the limit for you. Good luck!
