Overall, we had a great stay at Lani Kai and would definitely come back! Our room was exactly what we were hoping for, with a king-size bed, two chairs, a refrigerator, a private patio, and an incredible beachfront view. The location is unbeatable—right on the beach and within walking distance of everything you could need. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. The many restaurants, shops, and dining options made everything so convenient. The beach views and sunsets were absolutely spectacular. The only downside to our room was the mattress. It was very stiff and uncomfortable, and upgrading the beds would make a big difference. My biggest disappointment was with the beach chair and umbrella rental. Our room wasn’t ready until later in the afternoon, so we went to the beach around 3:00 p.m. while waiting to check in. As resort guests, we paid $33 for two chairs and an umbrella, but they were picked up around 4:55 p.m., leaving very little time to use them. Since our room wasn’t ready, it would have been a nice gesture to offer complimentary chairs while we waited, or at least a reduced late-day rate. It also would have been helpful if the pickup time had been explained before we rented them. Those were really the only negatives. Everything else—from the location and views to the atmosphere, staff, and restaurants—made for a wonderful stay. We’d definitely stay at Lani Kai again!

We weren’t sure how much we would like this place but we ended up having a great time. What makes this place so nice is that it’s right on the water. The restaurants had good food and scenery and bartender Shawna in the Sundeck Bar was outstanding. There are shops and you can rent jet skis. We will be back.

The rooms were very nice and clean. The view was wonderful. We enjoyed the lunches at the Hot Dog venue and Taco venue. Grace's Trattoria was very nice. The staff at Lani Kai were friendly and helpful. It was a very nice experience. Thank you!

The beach view and beach front were certainly the highlight of this property. I loved the balcony and looking at the ocean. Unfortunately, on this trip we did not get the opportunity to rent beach chairs/umbrellas due to windy/rainy weather, but we actually did on a separate trip where we did not stay at Lani Kai and really enjoyed those amenities for a reasonable price. Also enjoyed the rooftop restaurant, the taco and pizza stand as well as the beachfront bar/beach drink service. The beds were not super comfortable, but for beach front this property is more reasonable than most and I would stay again!

We had a fantastic stay! Our suite was perfect, with a large deck overlooking the ocean, a comfortable living room, and stunning views. The hotel is beautifully renovated and feels fresh and modern throughout, with excellent dining options making it easy to enjoy great food without leaving the property. What really stood out was the friendliness of the staff—everyone was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay special. The highlight of our trip was celebrating my parents' 60th wedding anniversary at Grace's Trattoria. The team treated us like VIPs and made the occasion truly unforgettable. We also enjoyed listening to the DJ during the day and live music in the evenings, which created a great atmosphere without being disruptive—the property was quiet and peaceful by 10 PM. Beautiful views, wonderful service, great food, and special memories—we can't wait to come back! Highly recommend. 🌊🥂✨

Lani Kai is in a great location. The views from the Sunset restaurant are amazing. The food is great, the beach is awesome, the staff is courteous, the rooms are clean. We will def be back.

We had a great vacation at the Lani Kai resort. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The view from the room was great. We also took advantage of several amenities associated with the property. Specifically dolphin watching and parasailing. In addition to that, the food available on the property was varied and delicious.
