The cleaning crew was banging on things very early in the morning and being quite noisy. They were funny, professional, and warm. We asked for recommendations and they gave them. Good hair and body products are included in showers. The mirror has amazing lighting and a builtin speaker. There is tasty restaurant and bar downstairs in lobby. Late checkout is available upon request an additional fee may apply, but its not much.

The front desk staff was always polite, the doorman, james, is very classy and remembers your name, and the room was clean and quiet, especially for the location where i mostly sleep, with a comfortable bed and pillows. The only minor drawback was that there wasnt enough counter space for me to set things down. Coffee maker cramped the desk. A $15 daily voucher made breakfast affordable. Will stay again!.

I had a great time during my brief visit. I am heavily involved in its automation processes, but there is one aspect of my room that i disliked the most - the fully automated lights in my bathroom, particularly in the middle of the night. But this is just one complaint. The room itself was cozy, the service was excellent, and the view was acceptable even though it wasnt perfect.

I would rate this place a 10 out of 10. My companion and i checked in after midnight without any issues, received keys and complimentary water bottles right away, and the room was immaculate. The hotel restaurant serves incredibly affordable bottomless mimosas and an excellent breakfast! Although there isnt much room service, getting extra towels or linen is easy. We were able to stroll to the riverside, Cindys, Cloud Gate, etc. Great location.

This hotel has some very nice personal touches. The staff is amazing and very helpful, especially jasmine. Excellent restaurant or bar with really great, innovative food. They even gave me a voucher to spend there every day. A decent workout facility as well, actually better than i expected with stairmaster and other machines, free weights, pull up bars, etc. Rooms are modern and well equipped. I wish the bottom bed sheet was fitted, but not just another sheet. You can tell when he does extensive training and is generous to his guests. Thats what this one is! I will definitely stay here again next time in chinese.

We had a great time during our stay this past weekend! Everyone was friendly and helpful. The valet crew was polite, even taking me to my car to retrieve my cell phone that i had forgotten when we got home from supper. At the cafe on the main floor, the personnel were courteous, attentive, and accommodating. Both the food and the prices were very reasonable. Nice view of the harbor and navy pier. Although smaller than anticipated, both the room and lobby were immaculate. For your next trip to chicago, we would most definitely return and heartily suggest this location.

The staff is excellent. We stayed for four nights and never had our room cleaned. It was an inconvenience for us. A king room is the size of a postage stamp in the meantime. Update: When we discussed our stay with the front desk at checkout, they were understanding, apologetic, and helped to fix it. They stated that they are shortstaffed and doing their best. On the plus side, the rooms were small but very nice. The hotel is wellmaintained, so the staff, especially the receptionists, were extremely helpful and made us feel as though we were coming home when we walked in.

The hotel boasts a prime location, excellent service, and onsite gym facilities. However, one minor complaint is that the noise from outside can be heard. While this may not be bothersome, i did notice some noise emanating from the outside area. Despite these minor inconveniences, it did highlight the presence of rain and snowfall. We are grateful for everything!.

I will not be returning. Ill start by describing my experience at le meridien essex chicago. The location was ideal, right across from the park, close to restaurants and the subway. It was easy to walk, which was exactly what i needed during my stay. With a contemporary and clean design, the hotels aesthetic was excellent. You could tell it had recently undergone renovations while still maintaining upscale vibe. Although on the smaller side, they were tidy and wellkept. However, considering the low cost of parking, there was little information available, and thankfully, despite asking for an additional washcloth, one of them came over and handed me two with grins. Lets move on to the rooms. There was no way to get brisk service from this front desk staff throughout my twonight visit. My room had hardly any air of calm, making it simple to unwind and enjoy reassurance. Fortunately, another black man called me and completed my checkout, but he was monotonous and offered the bare minimum. On the bright side: the housekeepers were incredibly welcoming, as if nobody was happy to work.

This was a wonderful hotel experience! The rooms were very clean, the fitness center was great, and it was close to fun attractions in downtown chicago. I felt really safe here. Ro and markel helped us check in and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.

I would suggest this hotel. Excellent hotel, conveniently located for my needs when i went to a work conference. Good livable restaurant, wellequipped gym, and surrounded by grant park provide local fresh air. At checkin, jasmine M was really polite and nothing was too much trouble.

Nikali checked me in and everything was great from then on! The staff were very friendly and efficient, and the room and hotel are very clean and modern. My favorite thing about my room was the shower, the pretty blue tiles and good water pressure. Perfect hotel for my 3 night conference stay, thank you.

Before making a reservation at this hotel, i was disturbed by previous reviews. Our time there was excellent. Although the room is tinier, there are plenty of smaller rooms in the city. The front desk staff was really friendly. Even at 2 am, they were all there. Everything we wanted to do was just savoring if we had walked or took ubus for fares. It was ok with the restaurant. Nice setting. Really tasty smoked wings. Sheets and towels clean. Room appeared to be spotless. Shower without any hair or stains. Hotels appear to clean rooms every two nights now, except when requested. At least the trash was removed without asking for it. Free water, slippers, and robes. I used the discount card to the grant park bistro as my credit card. Every time, the elevator arrived quickly. Just my spouse and me. That is magic in and of itself! A halfblock walk will take you to buddy guy legends where you can listen to live music. Thank you for an enjoyable stay. We have stayed at nola and are equally content with this location. But just as happy. Thanks!.

The staff at the checkin desk, jasmine, were very helpful from the moment i called to inquire about valet services through check in. We were helped to the elevator and had such a welcoming and personal experience even though it was crowded lobby in bho brussels! Great service!.

The negative reviews about the lack of fitted sheets are true. My bed didnt have a fitted sheet, but who cares! The room was nice, the hotel was good, and the location was great. They actually have an effective gym, which is rare in the hospitality industry. So that was appreciated.

This is unquestionably the location for you if youre traveling a lot like me and are tired of staying in filthy hotels with the same layouts and rooms. The staff was extremely friendly, made sure my every need was met, and welcomed me with such warmth that i felt like he was created by family. Ro, my front desk agent, was exceptional and gave me hugs. It is conveniently located near grant park, is in pristine condition, offers paid parking onsite unless necessary, as well as opulent restaurants. Additionally, the manager was very welcoming. Modern and contemporary accommodations are provided in this hotel. With over 200 candles greeting you in the lobby in late at night, it creates ambiance. Without denying, there is vigor.

The view of the lake was breathtaking, and the rooms were fantastic. Ro was a pleasure to work with! He was really kind and went above and beyond to assist me. The beds were cozy, as were the accommodations. I also really liked the workout equipment. Excellent aesthetic.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. When we checked in, markel and ro were incredibly helpful. We had exemplary service and an excellent stay. A very safe and enjoyable neighborhood of chicago. I will most certainly return to stay here.
