My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. It was clean and had a lovely view from the main deck. What really made this house amazing was our hostess, Annie. She was very accommodating. Our breakfast was outstanding. Annie was extremely knowledgeable of the area and the best places to visit and eat. The house has a couple decks that could use some updating and a vine was well on its way to choking out a beautiful large tree near the main deck. Take note that if you’re planning on renting bikes to use on the C and O trail, there is no easy way to get them across the bridge. Best to drive to Sheperdstown and rent there. I appreciate how helpful you guys are. Annie and her colleagues went above and beyond to assist my sisters and I in arranging a lovely escape for our uncles wedding across the country. They were very pleasant to work with and never made us feel under pressure. And my uncles enjoyed themselves very much.

My husband and I want to thank annie for being such a great innkeeper. She made us feel at home and her breakfast was great. The house is very clean and she went out of her way to accommodate us when we asked to get started early. Thank you for your kind attention to our needs and we certainly enjoyed her friendliness and attention to detail. She is gregarious and is skilled in serving guests and cooking breakfast. Now, on the other hand, I address this to the owners of ledge house. As a house's interior is lovely, the exterior requires substantial renovation. The gardens are overgrown and the wooden porches and decks need to be repaired with effective power washing. The chairs and seating outside are covered in moss and other debris. As individuals, this home does not meet the standards we seek. If you only keep it up, the property would be greatly better. The parking situation is another problem that is very inconvenient. The living room side of the main staircase lacks a handrail, which is a danger. When we were there, an older man slipped on the bottom step. Fortunately, he was not injured, but it could have been worse. The entire interior could be a good cleaning of walls, closets, and under beds. I'm talking about a return trip. Annie is fantastic, but she cannot be devoted to meals

Our time at the ledge house to honor our anniversary was exceptionally pleasant and pleasant for my husband and me. To match what she has to offer, she operates a tidy inn. She was a resident of the area and had excellent tips for locating locations faster and more efficiently. The ledge house is very worn out and disused, the landscaping is damaged, the deck needs to be power-washed, and the lights are missing. annie informed us that exterminators would arrive the day we were leaving because we were noticing insects in our apartment. The day we were leaving, we could imagine how gorgeous it can be in the fall, but this should not be a priority for us.

We hope to stay at the ledge house again shortly. This place is very pleasant to stay. We stayed at this place for 2 nights at lunchtime. Annie was so friendly and cooked us a delicious breakfast. And then, she made us feel like family with an amazing welcome. After that, she was able to keep the inn immaculate and seem to take care of a large crowd. As part of her other guests, we enjoyed spending time at breakfast with her other guests. Subsequently, Harper Ferry has a rich history and is still charming.

My wife and I travelled to Northern Virginia for a wedding and had an extra night in the ferry. The room was beautiful, walking out on the deck the scenery was breathtaking, and the hospitality was amazing. Annie gave some great recommendations for restaurants, things to do, and places to see. I simply can't say enough good things about this hotel and the hospitality! If we were back in the area, we will definitely stay here again!.
