Caretaker Doreen was the bright spot of the experience. She was awesome and so personable. Felt like staying with an old friend. Beautiful area and lodge is cute from the outside. The rooms are each decorated differently. Not a negative, but motorcycle riders take note that the driveway is very steep and uneven in parts. Could be challenging depending on rider experience. Biggest downside was there are no individual room temperature controls. The caretaker can make adjustments, but it is the whole left or right of the lodge being changed.

Quaint little inn. Was a great last minute find. Loved the room, we got in late but no TV in the room which was fine for us. Only wish the lobby was open in evening. Closes early but such a neat lobby area.

Would highly recommend for a couples weekend. The room, bed was comfortable and clean. Loved that there was a good fan in the room as I'm used to sleeping with one. Adorable place and grounds with plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. Close to town so it's a great location. About the only suggestions I would make would be to add a little more lighting in the bathroom & shower and a small table in the sitting area. We had a great time and hope to go back at Christmas.

I really enjoyed the peace and quiet. There were other couples and families that stayed on the property, yet we felt as if we were the only ones there. The sweet lady that stays on the property was very helpful by telling us about a few restraunts we should try and other fun things in the area.

What an absolutely pleasant surprise to see the lodge after driving down the hill. It’s nestled in the woods and is just darling. Inside is beautiful; welcoming and warm, clean and our host kelly was the best. Loved chatting with a few of the guests in the morning over coffee. Beautifully curated antiques fill the common area. Our room upstairs was just what we needed; nice and cool, super comfortable bed with fabulous sheets that felt luxurious! I can’t wait to go back.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and super friendly staff. If I could rate it more than 5 stars I would. Peaceful and quiet, with cute rooms and pretty antiques in the lobby. Definitely will be coming back!

Beautiful and charming little cottage nestled in the woods that felt quiet and secluded, but it was only a 15 minute drive from restaurants and other businesses. The host, Kellie, was awesome and she went out of her way to make everyone feel welcome. The bed was so comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and modern. It was such a a pleasant and relaxing experience. We will definitely return.
