We had a wonderful stay at Loyd Hall Plantation and were really impressed with how the staff handled unexpected issues. The first room I originally requested showed as available, but due to heavy weather the night before, the roads had flooded and housekeeping was unable to clean it in time. The staff communicated this quickly and kindly upgraded us to the camilia Suite instead. When we arrived, we did notice the A/C in that suite wasn’t working properly. I contacted the staff again, and they immediately responded and upgraded us once more—this time to the Jenkins Suite in the main house, which was absolutely beautiful and felt like a true premium experience. It easily felt like a significant upgrade, and we really appreciated being moved there. Despite the initial hiccups, what stood out most was the responsiveness, professionalism, and willingness to make things right. The Jenkins Suite ended up making our stay exceptional, and we would definitely return. Thank you Ms. Roxanne.

I stayed here at least 10 times, while working nearby. Twice I’ve had to stay in different places due to no available vacancy, and both times I was reminded how much I truly appreciated the hospitality, warm welcome, privacy and convenience of staying at Loyd Hall. During my 3 months of regular stays here, it began to feel like a home away from home. Priced fairly for the many amenities and accommodating hosts. I’ve made special requests a couple times and was met with prompt response accommodations. I will always choose to stay here when working in the area.

Too cold to evaluate the pool. The plantation was in the Louisiana countryside, surrounded by sugarcane fields and stately oak trees that contributed to both the sense of history and haunted reputation. Once we were settled in, all staff wete gone and we were alone on the property. On a full moon night, it was both serene and spooky. We loved it!!

We always love our stay at Lloyd Hall. Angel took care of us with a great breakfast and even made our four legged babies a couple of pancakes. It’s so so peaceful there ..

Our stay was magnificent! The owners were quick to respond to every question or request we had. The sugar cane fields were getting harvested so that was an added bonus to our stay. The Commissary is comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was served each morning upon request and was quite tasty. Angel is absolutely precious and a hard worker. No doubt we will stay here again and refer any friends or family who visit the area.

I fully enjoyed the accommodations. The host even left me a breakfast sandwich each morning in my fridge because I left before breakfast was served. I’ll be staying again bc of the convenience, peacefulness and accommodations, along with being close to my work location.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lloyd Hall Plantation! Beautiful, historic, and charming place. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was amazing. We stayed in the Magnolia Cottage, but would love to check out one of the suites in the main house next time. Highly recommended!!!

We had a 2 night stay over the weekend at Loyd Hall Plantation. We stayed in the Magnolia... The cottage was very clean, the bed was comfortable, plenty of towles, hand towels and wash cloths. We were asked if we needed anything, which we did not. There was Bidy wash, soap, shampoos, conditioners and lotion in the restroom if any was needed. Plenty of coffee, creamer and sugar. The lady thay is the housekeeper went above and beyond to make sure all was good. Over all the stay was amazing and we will be going back soon!

If you love history you can really appreciate this place so I loved being there I believe everyone should at least stay there once and embrace the history, silence, and experience of being able to walk around something so beautiful and antique that still standing
