Very nice small boutique hotel. Check in was easy with a friendly front desk(forgot his name sorry). He gave us a few recs for food/activities. I really liked the decoration of the room and it was clean. The pool water was warm which was nice. The only thing is lots of water spills onto the bathroom floor when showering. Location was convenient if you plan to stay just within Palm Springs but further if you plan on going into Palm Desert etc. Overall, I was pleased with my stay and would stay here again.

This place is a hidden oasis. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms done tastefully, the beds quite comfortable, and the water in the bathroom is nice and hot to relax the muscles. The location is right above uptown Palm Springs but far enough to make you feel like you're in secret getaway. The entire vibe is stylish and restful, with plenty of sun on the pool and shaded areas to lounge. The views of the mountains are just right to add to the sense of relaxation away from a hurried life. The best is to sit in the hot tub early in the morning and listen to the birds - absolutely perfect! I am definitely returning for another visit.

We recently stayed at the Mahala Hotel in Palm Springs and had a wonderful experience. The accommodation was absolutely lovely and beautifully presented, stylish, and exceptionally clean throughout. The hotel has a calm and relaxing ambience, with a wonderful pool area that made it the perfect place to unwind. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome from reception, and the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable, providing great information and recommendations during our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and private getaway in Palm Springs. Its relaxing atmosphere, attention to detail, and excellent service made for a truly memorable stay.

This is a great spot in Palm Springs. We’ve stayed at several others and will definitely return to Mahala. Very nice staff. The rooms are very clean and quiet. The pool and hot tub area are great. Good location. Parking is super convenient. We really got treated well at check-in and they made a birthday celebration really special.

Parking is down a narrow alleyway to a small lot behind the hotel. Property was fairly clean and quiet which I was happy about. Jacuzzi is hot, jets are not super strong. Pool temperature was nice, perfect for cooling off after laying in the sun.

I booked a solo trip, so I was looking for more affordable accommodations. I am happy I chose this property. The property itself is small but so cute. I missed the entrance to the parking lot the first time because it's not super obvious. The property only has reception/front desk from 10am-6pm. However, you can text if you need anything. I checked in after 6pm and was left a detailed letter with instructions. It was really painless. The property is quiet. I did go out to my car at some point, but I forgot the gate code, and my phone was in the room (the room key doesn't open the back gate, and it was the only entrance at that time). Thankfully, someone was in the hot tub and opened the door for me. So always have your phone with you after 6pm. The room had a steamer instead of an iron, which was nice. The shower was oh la la! A wonderful rain shower experience, a bunch of awesome snacks, and water/sodas were included in the room. Overall, I highly recommend it, and I am happy with my stay.

This place was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. It’s a small boutique hotel so getting in and out is so quick and easy. The employees went above and beyond to make my Coachella stay so easy. Easy text service and easy check in service. I wish I can book on hotel.com right now for next year, I’m eagerly waiting for it to open up. I’ll be back next year !!!

Quaint hotel. Staff was very welcoming and informative. Rooms were clean, shower was exceptional, pool and hot tub were inviting but we did not use either. Very convenient to restaurants.
