Stayed here a couple of times. The first time was before the renovation. The rooms and hotel were a bit quirk and old and it’s 3 stories with no elevator. Creaky floors, outdated bathrooms and some closets weren’t finished. Some were just small spaces with some shelves, some inside the space where the heater unit or hot water heater was with a wooden bar with some hangers. Appears the hotel has finished renovations and the bathrooms have been updated and painted, as well as the rooms. The room this time also had updated furniture as well and nice size TV. Hardwood floors may have all Ben refinished, but still creaky. (It’s an old hotel) I had a King bed room with one wing back chair and a desk and desk chair as well as a mini fridge and dresser. (enough room for a small sofa, but no sofa) Service was fair, not over the top but not terrible either. Over the top would be if their door person and front desk stall made intentional greeting to guest as they left or came back. Depending on who was working you could get that or the door person and desk staff engaged in their own conversation. It has a pretty decent restaurant attached and its location in lower Queen Anne is perfect with a Safeway, CVS and a few good restaurants all within walking distance. If you have a car. Parking is moderately difficult to find by the hotel, but there is paid parking lots that can be used nearby. Bottom line is, off season good rates, high, up to $300/night. If you like quirky this is a good one

A beautiful historic hotel beautiful restored. The room was comfortable and spacious. While the bathroom was small there was plenty of surface space which can sometimes be overlooked in hotel rooms. There is a fantastic restaurant, Toulouse, across the street the offers brunch and late night dining even on week days. The absolute best part though was the wonderful, friendly staff. The gentleman who works as doorman, valet, bell hop was a throwback to a time of gentile hospitality that really completed the historic vibes. I’d go again just for him!

The building was amazing! It had such a historic feel and was conveniently located near cafes and other food options. It was also near many points of interest, within Seattle. The staff was all very friendly. I would stay here again, if I came back to Seattle.

Cool boutique hotel. Great neighborhood for restaurants within walking distance. No elevator no self parking. Street parking is tricky but doable. Would stay again.
