What a beautiful historical home, meticulously restored and furnished. Excellent location, safe neighborhood, easy access to restaurants. Nice bath sheets and linens including bathrobes. Lovely. We were on the third floor in room 7-Norma. If you can’t climb stairs, be sure to get a room on a lower floor. The only suggestion I have is to extend breakfast hours. Breakfast is served from 8-9. Several of us were already in the casual living room at 7 and none of us could get the coffee maker to work after reading the instructions provided. The kitchen help offered drip coffee, French press, or lattes, so we were good to go.

This is a beautiful, well-kept old home. Todd is a great host and takes great pride this place. Our room was clean and very well appointed with lovely antiques, as well as, amenities including shower gel, shampoo & conditioner dispensers and a hair dryer. Breakfast was served around the dining room table consisting of a fruit plate, meats, cheeses, breads from a local bakery and a good selection of teas and coffee.

This place was perfect. I loved the atmosphere and the owner/staff. Makes me wonder why I stay in hotels and not B&B's

Absolutely LOVED this place!! It was so cute and historic! Built in 1909 it has so much character and felt like I was transported into a French renaissance era and my goodness it was the cleanest place ive stayed in. I’ve been to some 5 star hotels and this was even better!! If I’m ever in Lincoln again I know where I’ll be staying for sure! 10/10

Beautiful property with a well maintained garden. Loved the interior woodwork and decor. I stayed in the cozy Norma room. I wish I had more time to spend at Martha’s.

As always, serene, peaceful, bed is like sleeping on a cloud, everything from the lovely scented bathroom amenities to the historically stunning furnishings. You’re literally surrounded by pieces that you may never see again. Every inch of this property is painstakingly restored & precisely placed. This is all due to Todd Knobel, a man with impeccable taste, but more importantly a man with a passion for history, art, style & his undying need to share it with others & this is his way of accomplishing just that. Rooms themed in handpicked art deco pieces, Victorian era, French baroque…this is the beauty of Martha’s Bed & Breakfast. It’s not for the convenient-seeking traveler in search of a quick stay with a mini fridge & room service; it’s for those who are willing to take a moment to breathe in their surroundings & care about beauty & all the things that make art matter. So for those who want to stop for a moment in time in the heart of America…this bed & breakfast tucked away in Nebraska’s capital will literally take you to another place.

Absolutely beautiful bed and breakfast! We live in Lincoln and wanted an overnight staycation and this place was perfect. The soaking tub in the bathroom was absolutely amazing, and the hostess serving breakfast was so sweet the breakfast itself was very tasty. We will definitely come back!

The historic home was a beautiful place to stay. We were in the Dorthy room, which was lovely, however it would be even better if it had two chairs and a small end table, and if you could have access to a simple coffee maker to grab a cup before breakfast would be awesome!
