We had a quiet room which made for a great night's sleep. And the shuttle service was also very convenient!

We were a group of 7 with 4 rooms for 2 nights. We called for the shuttle from the airport once we received our luggage. The van was there to pick up up along with 4 others within 1/2 hour. Check-in was easy and we received ground floor rooms as I had requested while making our reservation. Breakfast was included which was in the office each morning - scrambled eggs, hash browns and sausage along with cold cereal coffee and juice. The shuttle will take you to places within a 2 mile radius. Anthony was great - took us downtown to catch an excursion we booked and came to pick us up again. We used the shuttle a couple more times with no problem. Anthony also took us back to the airport as requested. The rooms are dated but the rooms were clean and beds comfortable.

A real surprise, Fun, informative driver picks you up upon arrival and drops you at your final destination at your schedule, and is a font of information, Desk staff makes you feel like a valued guest. The morning man turns out to be a gourmet chef (in Alaska everyone has multiple jobs) so the "standard" motel breakfast included the best scrambled eggs, juicy sausage patties, breakfast potatoes and wonderful baked goods. Near the main entrance of Merritt Field, the neighbor hood is not prettiest, but is quiet and safe, the room is not the fanciest but very comfortable. A great, affordable find!

Staff were very friendly, we just wish it was closer to restaurants and shopping. They offered free shuttles to downtown

Only complaint I have is for lack of use charging. I didn't bring a 110 plug with a USB port, so had no way to charge my phone. Otherwise I was pleased with my stay.

For the cost this was a perfect place to stay after my cruise. The bed was more comfortable than the one on the ship! Staff was friendly and the shuttle got me everywhere I needed to go! I would stay again.

If you are going to Alaska and flying out to other areas, this is the place to stay. Although the place is a little old, it is kept in good shape and the staff is more than helpful and very friendly.
