This place is in a great location for walking to many restaurants, bars and the beach. If you are going to San Diego to hang out in a hotel / motel room, this is not your place. You cannot beat the price and location.

Great value for the location. The motel is in an excellent spot with convenient access to shops, restaurants, and beachside bars. It’s just a short walk to the beach, which was perfect for the price. The rooms are older but very clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Late-night check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Overall, an affordable stay in a great location, definitely worth it. Will come back again next month. One last thing Danny was very helpful throughout our stay.

This place has wonderful service. The receptionist, Claudio and ridge, are excellent bartenders who keep us laughing while we wait for our room to be ready. The room was comfortable, and they always keep us laughing.

A budget motel very close to the beach. There are many good restaurants nearby that are still accessible on foot. I like the swimming pool. Staff are attentive and prompt. We always stay at Mission Bay Motel when in San Diego.

Yes, this is our happiest place on earth. I adore this place. I am happy here. We check in, and the staff is incredibly friendly. We stop by for smoothies and then stroll along the beach. The location is unrivaled. There are many wonderful locations easily accessible on foot. We enjoy the shops and eateries directly across the street. The motel is spotless, comfy, and perfectly perfect.

Hotels and motels in the pub area are quite expensive. I only learned this the last time I was in the area as I walked past it. They are not listed on booking websites and phone reservations are made. I had previously stayed at a couple of other motels just a 5-minute walk from here for over $100 more per night, so this was a good deal! The location is across the beach and close to all bars and restaurants. Slightly older motel with a musty smoke odor in the room, but the room was clean, weighing well, and the free parking was a good deal. Would love to come back here again if in the area.

The new owners just took over the property 2 weeks ago but they are very customer oriented. The location is a 9.5, one block from the beach Bike rentals across the street and an amazing price.

Checked in 3 hours early and they had our room nice and clean. The owner was super helpful. Her staff was amazing! Only a few blocks away from the beach. We only stayed one night, but very nice.

The best thing about this stay was the location. Couldn’t have been more perfect for the quick walk to the beach and surrounding food and drink. The room was not perfectly clean, had a bit of a smell when walking into the room, a few hairs in the sheets but the bathroom was spotless. The tv was not working properly, it would freeze after a minute of being on. Only being here a night, it was a good stay. I was only here to spend time at the beach, so I was satisfied. Staff was very nice and accommodating.

Lucky customer #1 to schedule with the new owners apparently. Cheap, close to the beach is what we saw to book. Danny was friendly and helpful with what he could, some items were out of his control for the night. Will try again once things settle down.

This is just a standard motel. Although the rooms are clean and the front desk staff is great, nothing fancy! It is located behind the buildings across the street from the beach. This is Pacific Beach and runs all the way down to Mission Beach. Great way to walk, bike, scooter, rollerblading, etc. Beautiful beach! Great location for food and many bars for nightlife. I would recommend this if you're on a budget and want to enjoy the area. Much better than going downtown San Diego with all the hustle and bustle of the big city. Enjoy!.

This motel is a solid hole in the wall to rest your head. It is nothing to write home about and if you’re looking for a more quality experience I’d definitely go elsewhere. But it’s right by the beach and it was quiet to stay at. It served its purpose and be sure to ask for an extra fan. There’s no AC.

There were only two good things about this property: An employee named AK and the close proximity to where we needed to ve. Now let's break down what they MUST improve on: - pool area was not really useable. The chairs were dirty and there was a random microwave sitting on the floor of the pool deck. - the furniture in the room is outdated and in poor condition. - room smelled weird. Can't even explain the smell. Just weird. - bathroom in disrepair. The "bars" of soap were the size of poker chips. The towels were child-sized. - the smoke detector was off the wall mount and sitting in the corner of the room behind the bed. - the curtains were not that pretty teal color. They're a darker blue and covered in dust at the top. - comforters weren't even on the beds. They were folded on the foot of the bed. - staff was LOUD. It's morning and they're talking at the top of their lungs. No sleeping in! - there are NO phones inside the rooms. If you need the front desk you'll have to google the number. - I called the hotel and asked for 30 minutes so I could finish gathering my things to leave. They wanted to charge me $40 for 30 minutes. - bed frames are built weird & pieces stick out. I have 2 gnarly bruises on my legs from bumping into them. - dirty walls. Closets weird. They charge a LOT for what you get. They need to fix the rooms & the grounds to make them presentable, practical, & clean. Invest in the improvements & you'll get better reviews & repeat customers.
