At first it started off rocky. Thought I could check in at 3pm although I told them I would arrive around 5pm. That’s on me. Long story short 1st room I got was not serviced got the 2nd room real quick. Overall it gives you a college experience with the bathroom and showers outside the room. I enjoyed it.

Pleasant stay bed is comfortable staff was very helpful with helping me check in using the code to inter the building I highly recommend this place to friends and family I’ll be making reservations again for next holiday location near by food court and train stations bodega stores I felt safe staying there every floor as a security camera

This is a nice and clean room. I really liked the bed, and the sheets and blankets were clean. The kitchen is located downstairs from the room in which I stayed. The only thing I would suggest is the kitchen should have paper cups and plastic utensils.

This is a beautiful row home, located in a pleasant Bronx neighborhood and within walking distance of food (grocery, take-out and probably dine-in). I took the train into NYC, but had I driven I could have parked within reasonable walking distance of the guest house (at a parking garage, located near a car repair shop). It was extremely clean and the room was tastefully simple. The shower was a separate room from the bathroom, which was very convenient since the guest house is a shared space. Everything locks securely. The owner/manager quickly responded to my phone calls. I would definitely stay at Morris Guest House again!

This place is a great place to stay when you visit the city frequently for work, business, or even leisure. I really liked my stay at this quiet and pleasant guess house. The staff are very accommodating and offer great hospitality service.

The apartment was clean and both the shared bathrooms were spotless. One time a visitor took a long shower, I simply used the empty bathroom on the next floor. The staff was amiable, particularly Janelle. The room was quieter than I expected, probably because it faced a yard rather than a street. Request a room facing this way if it is possible. The neighborhood feels a little homey, so I think this location is probably best for experienced travelers or people who have lived in a city before. I had no issues, and it is very close to the subway. However, you must utilize common sense. I would return to the bronx and this hotel. Because hotels in Ny are exorbitantly costly, I was delighted to discover this place, which cost just over $100 in total, plus all taxes and fees. In August, I spent one night at a midweek. It was excellent that the ac unit had immediately brought the room down. Both the communal restrooms and the room were very clean. I was a little reluctant to book a place with a communal bath, but I had no trouble using them. When a visitor took a long shower, I just utilized the empty bathroom on the next floor. The personnel was gracious, particularly Janelle. The room was quieter than I had anticipated, perhaps because it faced a yard rather than a road.

I enjoyed my stay, the staff were nice and area was safe my only issue was my sheets had a few stains on it when I got there and I had to pay a $75 fee before I could enter which I wasn’t aware of prior to booking

The room was nice. Two bathrooms on our floor that are shared. My only problem with the place is it’s not well marked. I didn’t receive info on it until I called the number. The guy then sent me a link to fill out before he would send me any info. I was filling this out in the sidewalk outside the door. The only way I found it was ppl on the street seeing I looked lost with my suitcase and giving me directions. Once I filled it out I had to call again and he sent me a text with how to get inside. I’ve stayed at hostels before and the check in was a lot easier. This is located in the Bronx about a 5 min walk to the subway which was about a 45 min trip to down town. The room was very nice so no complaints there but I don’t think I would stay again.

Overall, my experience was good. The facility was clean and generally quiet. Wished the TV had working cable or the room had a mini refrigerator. I felt safe walking to the subway.

My stay was good they need to add night light on table stands and wash cloth and towels for the guest that should be included like all hotel other than that it was pleasant quiet and comfortable I will recommend to friends & family if you're planning for a weekend get away for if you don't want to save a few bucks
