The River Inn is centrally located in a very walkable area of the city of Napa. Only about 15 minute walk from the culinary Institute of America as well as a variety of wonderful tasting rooms. Highly recommend!

Balcony, on site parking, great amenities and comfortable bedding and furniture made this property one my husband and I will book again. Great discount on the breakfast next door. Never did get our VIP bottle of wine, but I didn’t go to the front desk and ask about it either.

It was amazing we were upgraded automatically. Staff gave us recommendations at check in and everything we tried was awesome. The restaurant on site delicious. I was wondering though if I left a luggage or bag behind. I haven’t found some items I wore on this trip.

Best place to stay in downtown Napa. The property is immaculate and the staff go out of their way to provide exceptional service. Splurge on the balcony room with the river view, pricey but well worth it.

The Inn is laid out differently than a “typical” hotel, so it took a minute to find every amenity. If you are a traveler you understand this is the enrichment you get from leaving your house. Once we had things figured out we really enjoyed ourselves at the Inn.

This was an amazing charming hotel!! All the amentities you want or need. Big clean rooms some with balconies and great river views. Plenty of restaurants with great seafood, and wonderful coffee shops. Nice to walk along the river or sit outside with coffee in the morning. I would definately go back if I'm ever in the area. Highly recommend staying here if you want a quiet, historic hotel.

I love that it is in front of the Napa River and having both Marimoto’s and Angeles Restaurants for you to choice. It is also so close to many tasting wines and cocktails rooms. This environment promotes you to walk and discover the heart of the action area!

My wife and I stayed here for our 27th anniversary. We had previous reservations that were a little farther away. I decided last minute to change our reservation to Napa River Inn. So glad I did! Nearly everything is within walking distance (Angele, The Fink, Oxbow Market, Scala, Morimoto, Palisades, etc). We hardly ever drove our rental vehicle (and onsite parking is free). The staff from beginning to end was warm, inviting, and helpful. You receive breakfast coupons (a door hangar card) for Sweetie Pies which we used daily. They have an option to hang the coupon on your door nightly and will deliver the following morning at your chosen time. Secondly, the building was quite, comfortable, and clean. We got a very good night's sleep during our entire stay. Finally, they will ship wine for you. We purchased 28 bottles, dropped them off at the front desk, and shipped home. The price to Atlanta was roughly $47 each 12 bottle case. They have a shipping price card for every state. Will definitely return on future visit.

I will definitely be staying here again. It is centrally located, everything is walkable. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, the fresh pastries in the morning were the cherry on the top.
