I stayed at the hotel to attend a funeral. The staff who assisted me over the phone went above and beyond to help me. Then when I arrived, the staff person at the front desk went out of her way to assist my mom and I. The rooms were quaint, clean, and just what we needed. Overall, my experience at this location was simply pleasant and it meant so much.

Great staff, great facility! I have an ev and traveled from Boston. I was able to charge all night at a good rate. The staff are super helpful and friendly. Hotel is very clean and has great amenities.

I felt very at home at The New Haven hotel. It has a casual elegant vibe that I appreciate. I am a retired Travel Consultant who spent thirty years traveling the globe. Highly recommend 💯

The room was a little small but suited my needs. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was great. Wished they provided a free breakfast. Parking was convenient.

It was a better than expected property and stay. I've stayed in the other more expensive hotels in New Haven and this one compares. Perhaps the only difference is it's a couple blocks further from the Yale campus and it does not have a restaurant & bar.

For me, the highlight was the check-in staff and evening desk staff on June 28. They were upbeat, enthusiastic, engaging in a way that made me feel good being in this hotel. For the other two days of my stay the staff was fine, but did not equal the energy and personality of that first day. The room was spacious and fine: bed, shower, work area all good. Very quiet on third floor even though 4 young women moved in next door and street construction went on outside. I didn't hear disturbance from any of it. I didn't use the gym. There was a sign for a restaurant on the second floor, but I never found it. For some reason, I didn't ask about it. Instead I found Kung Fu Kitchen on Orange Street just a few blocks away. Highly recommended. Hotel breakfast (at extra charge) was a huge disappointment, maybe the worst I have ever found in hotels and motels around the country and the world. Consisted of a few types of breakfast sandwiches wrapped in foil dripping wet as though they had just been thawed out. Would I stay here again? Yes, certainly, hoping for that great first-day staff again. And the hotel is easily walkable for things that interest me: Yale University Art Gallery, British Art Gallery, Yale Peabody Museum. And the parking garage across the street is conveniently located and connected by an above-street walkway if you need it.

Beautiful hotel. Easy check in. The staff was friendly and efficient. The parking across the street( included) was super convenient. Bridge from garage to hotel made our stay safe and easy. You use your room key to enter and exit. Great location, near all the famous bars and Apizza stops ! We really enjoyed our time in New Haven. We definitely would stay in the same hotel !! I do wish breakfast was included, as it was a little tricky to find a sitdown place for breakfast.
