I stayed at ny Moore hostel and will definitely be back. The desk service is excellent, to say the least. The rooms are comfortable, and the bathrooms are clean and spacious. My bed was large and very comfortable. The walls of the building have amazing urban art. This hostel is conveniently located just a few blocks from the montrose av subway station. There are great bars and restaurants nearby. My stay was only five nights, so next time i will try to stay longer.5,0/517 Mar 2023

During my trip to new york city, this was my first time staying in the city. I typically stay in manhattan, but i wanted to explore cheaper but better value locations. This hostel is undoubtedly among the best options. I enjoyed my five days there. My family and i had a great time staying there. He urged them to come in, sit, and enjoy tea while waiting for me despite the fact that they were staying in different locations. Its a safe and clean hostel, and interacting with the staff and other guests was a fantastic experience. When compared to other places, particularly in manhattan, the location is not too bad. I would be cautious returning there at night in the neighborhood, but aside from that, i would suggest the location!.4,8/521 Agt 2024

I almost dont want to review this place because i dont want it to become too popular. Without a doubt the best and most affordable place to stay in nyc. 24 hour staff who often let you check in early and are very chill and down to earth unlike some other places ive stayed in the city. They are happy to provide an extra towel, are very attentive to cleanliness, give you a tour or offer to store your belongings. I think their kindness and relaxed vibe probably lead them to be taken advantage of quite often. The space is great. Always clean and they come through every room every morning. The cleaning staff are also very friendly. Every room has a private bathroom and shower, which is more than i can say for many hostels. They also have great amenities, the room looks cool, and walking distance to many restaurants, shops, hangouts, and 2 train lines. I have stayed here 6 or 7 times and it has always been good.4,8/55 Jun 2024

Overall, a fantastic budget hotel to stay while visiting new york. Expect the bare minimum, as the company clearly seeks to be the lowest price for decent service. The front desk staff is friendly, open aroundtheclock, and offers secure storage. You must bring your own lock or purchase one for $4. A reasonably priced dispenser selling essential goods. I recently returned from a weeklong stay here and had an amazing time! A big thank you to nico and the entire team for making this one of my favorite hostels! The hostel is immaculate and has some great areas to relax, chill, and meet new people. Its also in a good location. The beds were really cozy. In a few months, ill be back. According to the price you pay and what you get, i can say that this is the best hostel in new york. Very friendly staff, the bedrooms are very clean, and it has a private bathroom, which is nice. I would definitely stay here again. Trans friendly, reasonably priced lodging accessible by the l train. When i politely asked some friends and i reserved separate reservations for the fourbedroom room, the front desk was able to arrange for us to stay together, and he was very relaxed and respectful about my id having X gender marker. Based on some friends experiences at other hostels, i had never stayed at a hostel before, so i was fully anticipating it to be nasty or, well, hostile lol. This was nothing of the sort. Clean sheets, a clean bathroom shared by the four roommates, free coffee and tea, a courtyard so you could smoke without standing on the sidewalk. I met other friends who ended up staying at nearby hotels who were paying much more for stinky, loud accommodations. I was really happy i stayed here 10/10.4,6/54 Agt 2024
