This place is exactly why we love older motels. We seek ones that have been updated and loved. Unique with a story. There is no heavy hall doors slamming and waking you up. There is no loud TV or foot stomps above you. You simply drive up to your door and unload. No more lugging your things hundreds of feet away. We got their 2 room suite (perfect if there is a snorer with you). The room had a fresh coat of paint, new floors and a new bath tube.

Clean, quiet, safe. Close to Florence. We checked in shortly after 4 pm on a Sunday. Seems the office doors were locked around 6 pm. Not sure how long they were locked. We just had a minor question, so it was no big deal. Just not sure how we would get checked in if we arrived at that time. Something to be aware of if booking a room there and arriving late. Otherwise, I would definitely stay there again if in the area as it was a very well maintained property.

Cute spacious room with a nice table to sit at. The girl at the front counter was very helpful and friendly. Close enough to downtown and local grocery stores.

Comfortable bed and very quiet so I slept very well and didn’t want to get out of bed the next morning. Check in was a breeze, and the clerk was very nice and informative. I was as able to park right in front of my door making loading/unloading gear easy.

This is a quaint, homey family owned and operated (from what I could tell) motel. It is old, probably from the 60s, but very clean. The curtains looked like they had been carefully sewn most likely by the owner, and installed with nice pull backs. The tile in the bathroom was nicely installed, and the bathroom was very roomy. The sink had some cracks in it, and the toilet seat was worn, but everything was sparkling clean, and smelled clean. The grounds were thoughtfully groomed, and there were subtle decorations that are not present in corporate hotels. I absolutely loved staying here, and it was inexpensive too. I will stay here again whenever I visit Florence.

I am a repeat patron. I have stayed at least four times, since December of 2025, with a consistently wonderful experience each time.
