Very nice quiet spot if you’re looking for somewhere with amazing beach access and the pier/bar right next door is a huge plus! Booked this trip for an anniversary and having beach access at the hotel directly where it only took a few steps to be at the beach was wonderful! Very helpful staff too, definitely make sure to ask for food recommendations cause we got a stellar breakfast recommendation by the person at the front desk after we checked out! Definitely will be coming back the next time we’re in the OKI area :)

Excellent location right at the pier. Check-in was good and the desk staff were great. It is an older well maintained motel. Will definitely come back.

Adding an extra outdoor shower would be decent option on pool side... still loved the place. We will be back!!

Motels get a bad wrap. This one provided me wrong. It was a very nice place. We stayed a week and had no issues. It’s right on the beach and right next to the pier. It’s 5 minutes (give or take) away from any restaurants. It’s not very popular which means not too many people. We enjoyed our time there. We will be back again.

I would have to say, my only discrepancy would be the shower in our room... the hot and cold were labeled backwards. Lol my family just figured we had to take cold showers since it never got hot. Imagine our shock when we figured it out lol. Im not even mad about it, it made for a funny family vacation core memory. The stuff was delightful, the grounds were kept up with daily, the beach was a dream! All around wonderful experience and will definitely book again in the future. Thank you Ocean Crest Motel!

I throughly enjoyed my stay. This was my first visit to Oak Island and I will go back. The room was very clean. I didn’t need the staff for any issues but they were great at check in. I also didn’t go to the pool so I’m not sure how that is. The parking lot and the hotel itself seemed very well maintained. I loved the short walk to the beach. I do think my tv was possessed. Lol. Seriously though I think the neighbors remote was turning mine on and off. I couldn’t get my remote to do anything but turn the tv on and off. I didn’t notify the staff bc I wasn’t there to watch tv. I do wish there microwaves in the room. The fridge didn’t keep my snack and soft drinks nice and cold. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

I love this place because it’s on the beach and you don’t have far to car chairs and stuff. The restaurant beside the pier is wonderful. The pier is nice too.

Check-in was so very easy! They were so nice to deal with. It was very clean and it was quiet for a motel. Lots of families were there. Great beach access. We didn’t get to the pool, but it looked nice too. We will be sure to visit again.
