Overall it was a great stay! If you are a light dreamer, expect some noise from the busses outside, also you need to go up stairs… keep it in mind. If that doesn’t matter THEN GOOD NEWS! It’s a great choice!! Clean rooms and the conditions were good. Cons in my experience was that I took a while to check-out. I was ringing around 7am and nobody responded I about 10min so I took a walk and returned 15mins prior my check-out time limit and almost repeated my first try but luckily the staff started talking to somebody behind the motel and told them that I was checking out. They took my key and said that I was good to go. Kinda boomer, hope it doesn’t happen or happened to anyone else… Also for they safety I think they scanned my ID so don’t worry!

A big room with a view of the Pacific, One thing: the shower barely got warm enough to feel comfortable. I like a bit more margin. Funny, but the sink water was fine. But I've stayed here before and would again. Small groceries and a 7/11 close.

Owner of the motel is very nice and accommodating. Was originally given a room on the 3rd floor but floor was way too uneven and seemed unsafe, so I requested to be on the 1st fl or 2nd fl instead. Was given a room on the 2nd fl that was a lot better than the room on the 3rd fl. There is no AC unit, but that was not needed because you can feel the ocean breeze even with the windows closed. Only downside I would say are the windows where I don’t suggest keeping it open in the middle of the night unless you have full trust in your neighbors because anyone can easily go in and out of your room through the windows since they are all wide opened windows. The tv was great since it’s a smart tv. Bathroom is retro and chic I like the tub color. Overall, pretty decent stay. Only a few mins walk to the Ocean beach. I recommend this motel if you’re looking for an affordable and decent play to stay.

This place is suitable for starting a journey to Golden Gate Park from the south-west entrance. The room is comfortable, clean, and simple.

This is the spot to be if the beach is your thing and the amenities are optional. On the same street, there are a few cute coffee shops that are popular for breakfast and a charming bar right next door. judah street is the turnout point for an electric trolley, so trains are passing by with lights and noise from early morning until late night. We could only connect to one station. The worst part was that while I was there, 2 pairs of earrings, one of which was quite expensive, were removed from my luggage. When I spoke to the manager, he responded that he was sorry, but no jewelry was found in our room. We did not plan to stay in the rooms other than to sleep and dress. We didnt anticipate star accommodation when booking this motel because it was close to where other family members were staying when visiting town for a wedding. Although it is run down, the rooms appeared to be spotless and we did not intend to stay in the rooms. There are funky bars on the same street that are well-liked for breakfast as well as a pair of adorable coffee shops on the same street. However, the electric trolley turns around on Juah Street, so there are trains going by with lights and noise from early in the morning until late at night. There was only one station on the way. It could be cleaner. There was a cleaning rag left in a shelf on the side of the bed and the light switch in the bathroom was really grimy. The employee who checked me in was very kind and carried my heavy suitcase up the two flights of stairs. Quick walk to the beach, and some eateries; a nice break from the more touristy and hectic parts of town. Due to no fault of the hotel, there was noisy construction behind the hotel that started in the morning. They keep the room heated all the time; the thermostat is taped in position so you can't turn off the heat. You can open the windows but there are no screens, so as a single woman I didn't feel safe leaving the windows open at night for the cooling I would have liked. I only booked one night so I probably didn't get the prime room. I recommend it just for the location, for a short stay.
