This is a beautiful, well maintained property. Our room was comfortable and clean. The location is in a quiet neighborhood next to a river. It’s just a great place to stay. Quiet, peaceful relaxing and very comfortable. We will be back and intend to stay longer.

Tucked away in a beautiful, off-the-beaten-path location, this spot is the perfect escape. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and well-appointed, the food is amazing, and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home.

We found the Inn while searching for a hotel for my son’s LAX tournament at UMass Amherst. It was a 20 min, easy drive and provided a quiet refuge from the hustle and bustle of the day! The room was well appointed and extremely clean. Loved the mill vibe and relaxing deck. The staff were extremely friendly and kind, letting us grab breakfast a few mins early as we had to be back at the field for Sunday morning. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We only stayed for one night, but we found that the Inn exceeded our expectations. It was a beautiful historic site, and the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff were as expected from the other reviews of the property. I was traveling with my daughter who has celiac disease, and the Inn was able to provide her with a lovely GF option for breakfast that was as delightful as the rest of the offerings. True GF options while traveling are limited, so this experience was a gem.

This is a special place to stay, tucked away in a part of the area that's very quiet (aside from the continuous rush of water falling over the old spill way) and yet easy enough to get to all the attractions of Northampton, Amherst, Hadley, etc. Charming and comfortable but not fussy, the decor an interesting "industrial chic" style, appropriate to the history of the place. The public lounge area is nice, lots of tables and chairs used for breakfast, which is simple but excellent: fresh scones, biscuits and serious local yogurt. Great coffee. The porch is delightful when it's warm enough, but I wish there was a better comfy reading area. Staff people were all helpful and friendly. We would certainly stay here again.

Very relaxing, And quiet there’s a small convenience, store nearby and a couple of restaurants close by as well. We were just there for an overnight. Complementary breakfast was excellent, and the staff was extremely friendly.

This is a quintessential New England Inn that is in a darling town. Super quiet, great views, and the management was super helpful. I was able to do my laundry for free while there overnight. Breakfast was good with local pasties and fruit. My only complaint was there were no protein options available. Overall, this was our favorite place we stayed on our 10 day New England trip. I would highly recommend a visit to The Old Mill Inn and community.
