If you are not a hostel person, this is probably your best option. The hotel is really old, which added to its charm, and although the facilities were also older, the place was clean. I am not a hostel person, as ive discovered, but the place is safe and a good option if you just need a place to sleep. The staff were absolutely wonderful, and the guests were generally very quiet and quite mature. The area. Oh boy, well, its safe. Dont worry early in the morning or late at night, be smart, and youll be fine. Because it is behind one of the main touristy strips, security and police are heavily occupied, but avoid crowds. If anything, it is entertaining.

Theres nothing wrong with this place! Excellent location and pricing. The bathrooms are small, so if you are 6 feet 5, youre just not going to fit. Theres a great outdoor seating area and a small kitchen. However, there isnt really a place inside with tables for everyone to congregate if you like meeting new people and hanging out.

A huge 1920 s home that was transformed into a charming place to stay right in the middle of Hollywood. I wholeheartedly recommend it. The back lot has $10 per day parking. A kitchen on the bottom floor. On all floors, there are several shared restrooms. The staff was incredibly kind, accommodating, and friendly. Everyone staying there was laidback, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The showers were always hot. Beautiful front yard and outdoor seating area with patio furniture and jasmine hedges. A hidden gem for affordable lodging in hollywood. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts! The womens dorm was excellent and very reasonably priced. Right next to the tropicicana and Madame tusades.

A very comfortable, warm and affordable hostel. The staff were helpful, the facilities were clean and the air conditioning rooms were very appreciated in the summer. The perfect place for exploration and nice outdoor areas if you want to relax.

I would definitely stay here again! Quiet, clean, and affordable hostel in a spacious 1920 s house with dozens of differentsized rooms and plenty of solo bathrooms and showers. The kitchen is compact and wellorganized, with 3 fridges and freezers to store your food, a small cooking station, a handy separate faucet w/ quite hot water for tea or coffee.

I would stay again for the location and value. A stones throw from all the action of Hollywood, yet so peaceful and comfortable. I slept well and loved the squirrels in the garden. Old building but reasonably maintained. Secure access and felt safe.

Visited from australia, we had a wonderful stay at the orange drive hostel. The room was a good size, with soft sheets and nice lighting with a 1920s feel. The courtyard had cute and friendly squirrels, and the location was central to hollywood. The staff was great checking us in early, which was much appreciated after a long flight.

The hostel is stunning, situated just off of the bustling Hollywood boulevard. Its situated in a residential area of the street, far enough away from the bustle of boulevard. However, our only issue was the lack of a smoking area, as we had to smoke outside on the street, which made it uncomfortable late at night alone.

Excellent stay, peaceful, spacious, with a decentsized room shower right next door, a cooking area, a fridge, wellkept grounds, and a very helpful staff. You can relax on the patio outside, conveniently located near the metro, tour buses, hotels, a market, and a variety of dining options.

In a maleonly shared dormitory, it is difficult to rate five stars. Lovely structure with an oldfashioned feel. Old Hollywood. Very close to starwalk, historic buildings, and places. There is a lot to see here. Refrigerators with food labels and an outdoor dining patio. A really nice space.

This hostel is in the heart of hollywood. The place is clean and welcoming. The only downside is the nighttime area. Its a bit sketchy at night, with lots of homeless people around. I would probably pay more and stay in west hollywood. Cheap parking and plenty of it. You can park on the street if needed.

Overall, a good place to save money while still having fun, especially if you only need a place to sleep like me. Loved the staff, very friendly! Was supposed to be a 6 bed but was instead a 5 bed which was kind of nice. The room was fairly basic, as was the shared kitchen and bathroom, but that was to be expected. The location was great! Its surprising that you can get a room for $35 per night right next to the Hollywood walk of Fame/Jimmy kimmel live etc. Got the top bunk, getting up there was a nightmare. No proper stairs.

Hotel yang indah dengan sentuhan vintage. Lokasi yang sangat bagus. Ini memiliki parkir terpisah yang tidak termasuk dalam tarif akomodasi, dibayarkan terpisah ($10 per hari). I stayed in a twin room with a private bathroom. The room was very clean and the staff were very nice. You have to ask for the ac to be turned on and thats something i had to ask every day when i got back from sightseeing or errands but they were always quick to turn it on. The curtains are a bit thin so the sun comes in at 6 pm. I got a sleep mask from target which is around the corner. The hollywood walk of fame and gilmans china theatre are very close. Ralphs and mr. Marshalls are also nearby. There is plenty of fast food and a mall so the proximity to things to do is great.

The staff was amazing and very kind. The building is old but well maintained. Nice restrooms. However, i do not recommend this hostel for leisure or travel purposes. There are mostly workers there. Not a good place to meet new people to hang out with.
