The manager and staff were exceedingly helpful when I encountered some automobile troubles. Beyond the call of duty. Not a bad place to be stranded. Highly recommended.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. It was perfect for our visit. The kitchen and bathroom were both recently renovated. Great location. Parking is a bit tight.

Excellent location, especially if you are good with walking the neighborhood or taking public transportation to get around. But, if you have a car, the parking lot was definitely a plus. Convenient to location are gas station, grocery, drug store, and places to eat. Recommend Goose Hollow Inn, Thai Bloom, Henry Higgins Boiled Bagels, Coco Donuts, and Ken's Artisan Bakery. You could stay several weeks and not eat in the same place twice while getting great cuisine. The room itself was comfy. Hot shower after a long day of hiking. Within walking distance of Washington Park, which houses the Oregon Zoo, Rose Test and Japanese Gardens, a Museum, and a Vietnam Veterans' Memorial. All accessible via a free shuttle. Also, walking distance to Providence Park. It's reasonably priced on top of everything else!

The staff was very friendly and helpful with parking. Loved the complementary Japanese garden tickets and walking distance from a lot of food spots.

This motel does exactly what it's purpose is - to provide clean, inexpensive lodging in a safe area. We got a room in the suite of rooms across from the main building, parking was free, the surrounding area was safe and clean, the room and bathroom were very basic but did the job. The bed was comfortable, the AC and wifi worked well, the toiletries in the bathroom smelled nice. There was a mini-fridge in the room. They also gave us free tickets to the Japanese garden, which was a nice treat. I took one point off from cleanliness because they don't do daily cleaning by default. We requested cleaning after our first night and it didn't get done until we called them again. I would highly recommend folks to stay here if they're looking for a clean, safe, well-priced room in Portland.

Great stay, walkable area. Free parking, Comp tickets to Japanese Gardens. It was definitely worth it. Cons, no breakfast, but they do have coffee in lobby. No housekeeping was also a bit disappointing. I don’t expect cleaning everyday but every other day. Unfortunately in day three we walked in to our room not serviced and no towels to shower after a long day out. Monday July 13 the lobby was unattended for too long. I was there at 6:30am and left at 7:13am and no one was there. Seems unreasonable amount of time to leave desk alone. The evening Clerk, Gael I believe is his name was so busy but he is so polite. Great service. I wish I could steal him to come work for me in California.

Wonderful friendly staff, particularly Cheryl at the front desk! I will definitely be back. Location is perfect for walking to Washington Park and Nob Hill for dinner. Thanks for a great stay.

The staff were really nice. The room was really nice and it was clean. The parking was tight and limited but I can't complain too much considering it was free parking. Most hotels are charging per night to park your vehicle

I stayed in the "inn" across the street from the main hotel. Parking was tight. Only a couple of walking blocks away is a great Mexican restaurant called Mazatlan, where I got takeout both nights. Room and bathroom were clean and functional (low water pressure in shower). They provide coffee and breakfast cookies in the morning in hotel lobby. Only went the second morning about 15 mins before it closed, and got the last cookie.

Have stayed at Parklane several times. We are happy with the reasonable rates and close proximity to Providence Park! Walk to bars and restaurants and appreciate the cookies upon check in!
