Self service little place. Rooms are small but very clean and comfy. Nice coffee and supplies and ice. This will be our future place to stay in Escalante. Really a cute quite small place w a comfy bed great towels and shower and quiet…. Go out at night around back and gaze skyward

Cute coffee bar,clean and cute room-comfortable bed. Liked the patio in rear of the nuilding with table and chairs and a grill available. Would be great for a family reunion to all stay at the same place yet have separate bedrroms and bathrooms... could hang out in rear patio.

Perfect place for two backpackers to stay the night in Escalante. Loved the coffee bar, bed was comfy and we slept amazing before our backpacking trip.

My visit was short but I found my room,Lil Jo's Bunkhouse, just as pictured. It was very clean and the bath was well stocked with clean towels and amenities. Though I did not use the patio with grill,I could see it was well equipped with all the grilling essentials. I arrived late and had no problem accessing my room with the supplied door code. The Inn is set back off the main street and was quiet. I would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stop in between National Parks. Room was clean, super comfortable bed, kitchen had everything you needed. Perfect stay for one night!

The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and I really need to find out what sheets they use because they are super high quality! It was very cozy and we had the Little Jo room towards the back which was great because we took the steak on the barbecues that were there and hung out under the little pergola in the new chairs. Then we proceeded to go down to the market and get some firewood to have a little bonfire in the back! It was fantastic and was definitely the best time we've ever had staying in a hotel. We also thought it was neat about the self check-in feature as it was super easy and didn't have to deal with any people at a desk or any lines. Two thumbs up 10 out of 10!

We ended up having to stay at another property that the owner had. Expedia double booked us at the ponderosa inn. We arrived in at the ponderosa in escalente at 8:45pm. Expedia gave us the room code and we opened the door and there were other guests in the room. I called archie the property owner and explained the situation. He confirmed that there was another booking for the room and expedia did not notify him of our booking. He was able to get us a room in another of his properties. He went above and beyond to help us even though it caused him to have to get a room ready and deal with booking us in at 9 to 10 at night.
