We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. This low-cost hotel provided cleanliness, is updated, and is useful. The only issue is that the room smelled a little smokey, but it wasn't horrible, but that's why I gave it an average rating overall. We stayed here because we were stopping in Santa Claus in Indiana. There is only one hotel in that town that's review was unfavorable. This hotel is 10 minutes from Santa Claus and on the highway for a quick getaway. Breakfast was also provided with eggs, sausage, and other goodies.

The room was clean and comfortable. After dark, I felt secure enough to walk next door to taco bell. It was chilly outside, but the heater in the room was wonderful. The only issue we encountered was breakfast. The eggs and sausage links were cold. I wasn't sure if we were supposed to heat them in the microwave but all they had were Styrofoam plates or if there was an issue with the heating element in the container they were in. We were trying to leave so I didn't inquire at the desk. Instead of the waffle iron, they have a pancake machine, which I didn't use but saw others using it.

Room was clean. Breakfast was decent for being free. Pool close to the room, which is convenient for kids. Close to food options. Strange how our cell phones kept switching from central to eastern time, but the hotel was upfront about that. Could use some updating but overall a good stay.

I chose this location because it was close to the Christmas lights that we were about to see. Usually this place is booked in the summer due to holiday world, but not so much in the off season. Pros: The bed was comfortable. The room was clean, the pool was open and the room was spacious. The staff was friendly. Close to shops and restaurants. Cons: Breakfast was compromised. The pool water was cold and the pool itself was small and in need of cosmetic repair.

When crossing the Indian border, it was late, we were exhausted, and we needed a spot to rest. I'm grateful this hotel was near the exit. The check-in clerk was very polite and accommodating. The accommodation was extremely tidy and cozy. The breakfast area was spotless and nicely stocked. My wife and I are health nuts so we didn't eat anything, but we did enjoy their delicious coffee with our meal in our room. Since this hotel is a fantastic place to stay, it should be properly labelled a high-quality inn. See you all the next time we go.
