The property is great and all workers are wonderful. The only downside is some of the people staying there are absolute “clowns” to say the least. They allow their children to run around in the room well past midnight and don’t care about any of the other guest. Classic entitlement syndrome but that should not reflect poorly on the employees so I still give 5-stars.

Overall nice place to stay. Sherry at front desk was very helpful and nice. Place was clean. Location was fine for what we came for. However, does need to be updated and maintenance. Breakfast was fine. Air conditioning worked well.

We’ve stayed here twice while visiting our daughter at LU and will definitely be back! The front desk staff are genuinely kind and welcoming — just good ole American people who make you feel right at home. The real highlight is the BREAKFAST — you won’t find a suite in this price range anywhere nearby that includes a breakfast this good. The sweet lady in charge of breakfast clearly takes pride in her job. The hotel isn’t flashy, but has everything one needs It’s very clean, comfortable and safe. Great value for the price!

Decent hotel with exceptional friendly service. Rooms are large and clean. Don't expect the Marriott. I have stayed here multiple times, I love that it's dog-friendly, staff is always so very welcoming. Breakfast is nothing to shout about... but there's coffee and juice and toast and a waffle machine. Eggs are powdered... Overall, a stellar deal for those staying in Altavista.

Check in was quick, room was clean and comfortable. We were in room 111 and the room above us had a dog and people who stomped and pitter pattered on the floor all night. I called the front desk at 11:00pm when they advised they would contact the occupant but it continued ALL night! Suggestion to staff: all guests with pets should be placed on the first floor. Did not get a restful night of sleep.
