Serves its purpose, a place to sleep afyer an event in Oakland. Cheaper than down the street but still close to the BART stations. Convenient though sketchy parking.

The room was clean, the staff were very helpful and customer friendly. The breakfast, along with the access to coffee and water 24/7 was a pleasant addition to the experience! Well worth your stay. Will definitely be staying here on future visits to Oakland!

Hotel was clean and rooms were very quiet. Room sizes were on smaller side but not unexpected for a downtown hotel at this price. 5 mins to BART and easy to go anywhere from there. Breakfast was basic but good. I would stay here again.

I always loved this place, due to it feeling like home. I enjoy it being close to my school down the blocks so I can go back and forth, and when my family comes with me to accommodate me in some important school matters. The front desk receptionists are so friendly and thoughtful and extra attentive. I love being at the 7th top where I can see everything so beautiful. Beautiful suites as well!

Staff were all extremely friendly except for an odd tone from the guy who can't walk well that was off. Besides, that, cleaning staff friendly, clean rooms. Laundry room was useful. No issues all around. Thanks!

The rooms were clean and surprisingly spacious. Big bathroom, the sink is oddly small, though, it could use an update. The shampoo and conditioner, smelt great. The last but not least is the employees, they are super friendly and helpful. When I my car didn't start, on my check out day. The front desk man let me use his personal jump start kit to get my car going again. I am so grateful for people like this, helping out when they can, even when it's not included in their job description. Bless up

Overall impressed. Unfortunately, the brand name for me isn’t so positive in other cities. But this hotel has changed my outlook on the brand name. Overall, the hotels in decent shape and condition.
