If youre adaptable and helpful, youll be satisfied. Excellent for a quick overnight stay when you just need to get off the road and have a few hours of sleep and a shower. It definitely needed some updating, but for the extremely low price, it was a sensible alternative to spending twice as much at a chain. The room was clean, the ac was extremely cool, and the water was hot. The furniture was a little outdated, but adequate for our requirements because we were only looking for a spot to crash. I felt secure there. There was no sign of any abandoned structures visible.

The only positive aspect of my stay is the friendly staff and nick wife. Oh, and the heater worked but was very loud. This was a cheap motel 25 years ago, now it's a drug addict, immigrant worker, loud drunk people screwing next door and motel with lots of baby roaches, who weren't afraid to walk across my bed, pillow, and face as I tried to sleep. Burn marks and razor blade cuts on countertops, cigarette burns on the bedspread, threadbare carpet edges, stained carpet, dust on stuff, tight hard to open doors, windows replaced by plywood, exposed wiring in fixtures, smokey smell in non-smoking rooms, wifi was slow and ancient cut to dark. The only reason we stayed was due to it's close proximity to the hospital where I was having surgery the next morning and I didn't know the town at all. Not getting a good night's sleep wasn't helpful!.

Just spent one night in Alexandria, louisiana, and I wasn't sure if this motel hotel, which was probably a local magazine that piqued my interest, had the highest ratings of any hotels along this motel hotel strip on the west side of town. The cleanliness of the rooms for this 1960 motor inn really got me excited about the reviews. There weren't many people in the hotel, maybe a dozen vehicles, and lots of rooms, sort of on a back street, although the neighborhood didn't look particularly nice, that didn't bother me. Lots of lighting for security check-in, which was simple. The carpet was one of the cleanest Ive seen while a week and there wasn't much odor anywhere. I'd heartily suggest this. What I didn't like was the $ 25 deposit upfront, which I would get back in a week on a credit card if someone took towels or stole the flat screen, lol that doesn't make sense. I would probably pick up the flat screen for 25 dollars, lol. The next day, I met the proprietor at check-out, and a kind man informed him about the deposit, which I think is a bit absurd. Unfortunately, it is usually called the cost of doing business when individuals take on things, but I would stay here again in about $ 50 per night for

Overall, nothing too much trouble. The hotel is outdated but tidy. I stay in hotels 45 days per week, and clean beats fancy any day. The staff is fantastic, and you are close to many great places to eat. I will probably stay here again if I return through here. No coffee in the rooms, but I have those singles and heated some water in the microwave. The first pretty quiet stay was on the weekend, but this one has been through the week.

The hotel owner doesn't offer breakfast. They don't serve breakfast. The place was clean and the bed is comfortable.
