I thought I'd already left a review - but I'm happy to leave another. This hotel was FUN to stay at. The staff were amazing and the room was delightful. The rooms are years 1953, 1980, etc.... and each room reflects that time and place. The place is definately retro and I loved it. I want to stay there again and recommend it and the staff highly. It is delightful and well located, and the people are wonderful - very willing and able to help with anything you need or information you might want. As I mentioned, if I am in that general vicinity again, I WILL stay there.... check out the Woodstock room! Water beds and all... hippy haven <3 And for any Elvis people out there - his lovely self is all over the place...

When we go to Cortez, my husband and I usually stay at the Retro Inn. It is clean, comfortable, and affordable. It is an older hotel, but is well maintained. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is adequate.

Each room has a unique theme which is creative. The overall property is unassuming but appears to be maintained. The complimentary breakfast is a very nice perk and the check in person was very professional and informative.

The “John Wayne” room was awesome. Clean, quiet & comfortable. The numerous options for a continental breakfast was exceptional. Very friendly staff.

This is such a cute place. Each room is themed. We were in the Elvis room. The motel lobby has a great vibe and a nice breakfast layout with plenty of space for seating. There is laundry on site which is nice. Our room was fun but needs a little maintenance and touch up. Comfortable stay.

We travel through Cortez fairly regularly and always stay at The Retro. It is super convenient, clean and quiet. Beds are comfy and the showers are incredible. We really like the good old style of motel where you can back your car up to the door, sit out on the porch and relax and feel comfortable.

The room was very clean. Each room is a different year. We stayed in the 1965 room which was a Harley Themed room. Everyone was extremely welcoming. The breakfast had different choices for breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.
