We would stay here again if we are in the area. Stayed here with my girlfriend while visiting the region. We want a place near the water and you really cannot get much closer than the river edge. The staff wore masks and requested them from guests in the office area. Our room was nothing extraordinary but quiet, very clean and good value for money.

I will stay here again, this time for my fourth trip. Every time I arrived, I was pleased to find the room was clean, the staff was welcoming, even the owners were available to talk with you. The breakfast was delicious and the location was close to the beach, and the pool was tidy.

Small hotel but great place to stay. Literally steps from the water. Very friendly people work there and try to make the best of the situation. The room was clean and there were tables outside each first floor room for added safety. Morning breakfast was a pleasant surprise served safely even with fresh fruit, juices, coffee, eggs and breakfast meat. But you have to eat back in the room. Id go back when we return to colonial beach.

We stay 4 nights and just relax. Fresh coffee in the lobby and friendly staff that know the area. Clean room, good linen and towels. It was a little pricey for the price. We plan another winter stay.

We stayed here on May 29, 2021. We were stuck in a bad spot because a mixup occurred at our rental property. They were gracious enough to take us and our dog at the last minute. It was awful weather and there was now a location to go if we could check in early without paying. The staff, particularly the breakfast employees, was excellent. The food was ample and delicious. We've stayed at hotels twice in the past six weeks, and this has by far the best breakfast. Although the rooms are small and the dining area is small, we will definitely stay here again. Even my picky 84-year-old loved it. Right on the water!.
