The property is very informal, quaint and has an old Keys charm which I thoroughly enjoyed. The room was clean, smelled fresh, had a very comfy bed with white linens. The room had a refrigerator, small freezer, microwave, disposable cups and a coffee maker. There was plenty of lighting and bedside tables. There was a small glass table with chairs and the bathroom was beautifully decorated. A large shower, sink and lots of toiletries and clean white towels. Outdoors was a clean pool and pool area. Plenty of shrubs, bushes and trees to add some pleasant landscaping and a walkway down to the beach; which was ample for our stay. A little sandy area with loungers. Mangroves to the right and a little rocky, reef like area to the left which provided some good snorkelling. There was a pier with seating, and a small marina if you were lucky enough to have a boat! We didn’t. We sat on the pier one evening with takeaway pizzas and it was a highlight of our trip watching the sunset. There were free kayak rentals, but we brought our own paddle boards and were able to launch from the beach area. We had such a great time. 4 nights was not enough! We will definitely come back to Rock Reef. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

NEED TO SAY THE PLACE IS SUPER CLEAN AND THE STAFF WHERE AMAZING VERY KIND WE HA D An AWESOME TIME IN THEIR BEACH AND WE WHERE ABLE TO BBQ AS WELL, THE POOL IS BEAUTIFUL THANK YOU ALL FOR MAKING US HAVE A WONDERFUL STAY. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. This property is not modernized but it is very cute and clean. The amenities are nice and the sunsets from the property are unbelievable. If you want an updated property this is not the place for you, but if you’re ok with a property that looks like it came from the set of the Golden Girls, this is the place for you. I loved it, and my husband and children loved the quiet and peaceful week we had here. We will definitely be coming back. The staff were so nice and helpful always.

The staff was friendly and walked me to my room after check in. The grounds were well kept. They had benches and hammocks. The pool was great. The easy beach access was really nice. Watching the sunset from the dock over the ocean was the highlight of my stay.

Our family of 5 loved our stay at Rock Reef Resort. We stayed in the 2 bedroom duplex/bungalow. The unit was clean and spacious. The full kitchen had everything we needed including a coffee maker, kettle, large refrigerator, dishware, blender, stove, and dishwasher. Bring your seasonings. The living room has a dining table, futon couch, two arm chairs, and a huge TV with all kinds of viewing options. The double beds were comfortable and the air conditioner worked well in the middle of June. They had a bin you can place outside your door for used towels you would like replaced. My favorite part of the unit was the front porch. It was so cute and had a table and double swing to watch the sun set or hang out. The amenities were beyond what I expected. There is a pool and a beach area where you can easily get into the water. We swam and snorkeled all around. It was perfect for the kids and not deep. The dock was nice for lounging in the shade under the amazing tiki hut and watching sun sets. There is a boat ramp and boat slips on the docks. We did not personally use it, but another guest that was there at the same time did. We had our own kayak and was easily able to paddle all around the bay area. There is an area out to the left that many boats anchor out to swim and hang out for the day, kind of like a sand bar. We paddled out there, anchored, swam and snorkeled, no problem. The resort has 3 kayaks and a pedal boat you can rent for free an hour at a time. Beautiful property!

Charming Keys style family owned resort. The little beach was great to get in for a swim, great to kayak & snorkle around,friendly and helpful staff. Met guests that are repeat patrons, will definitely go back!

The front desk area had me a little nervous at first. Not very tightly and organized. Things taped to the walls etc. But the room we had was surprisingly clean and well maintained. Everything worked and was comfortable. We were very happy with it. Unfortunately had to leave early but would come back
