We loved our stay at Roots Retreat! We needed to split up a road trip but didn't find anything nearly this nice for the price in Wichita Falls. We loved the contactless check-in, the free snacks, and the adorably decorated rooms! The AC was already set and the room was cool when we arrived, which we appreciated coming in from the Texas heat! We stayed in the Freedom Room in the main lodge, and it was plenty big enough for our family of three. The little sitting area was perfect for eating our meals and relaxing. We may just come back on our trip home!

Communication was clear and timely. Check in and out was seemless. Stayed in the Freedom lodge room which was cozy and every detail thorough down to the toothbrushes, soaps and snacks available any time, even pop tarts and twinkies. Even though we were only passing through to Fredricksburg I would vacation in Seymour just so I could stay here again!

Loved this retreat. Many amenities were included; Free laundry, party room where you can entertain small groups and cook, Take away snacks and breakfast foods. They do use way too much air freshener. I had to take antihistamines to counter act the scents. Also, hair dryer in Desert Room did not work.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Unfortunately, we came in late and weren't able to take advantage of the pool or fire pit, but we're already talking about coming back for a staycation. Everything was clean and well-kept and cute as could be. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone looking for a comfortable place to relax and unwind.

The cozy decor, the complimentary breakfast/snack bar, the cleanliness, the cool features (like a covered patio hangout area)...We loved our stay here!
