Overall, a fantastic stay. As it has been around since 1820, the Towells Inn is one of those that exudes a historic presence! Both inside and outside, the owners kept the house's historic character. The host was really kind and welcoming, and the room was a delight. Although quite historic, I was relieved that there was an ac in our room because it was rather hot that day. It's important to note that it was perhaps to be noted that the faucet has a separate cold and hot water flow, as was frequently used in the past, perhaps at some intentional removal of a room. This is normal for these places because bedrooms are on the second level and need a staircase to get around, which can be difficult if you have heavy baggage. We ate french toast for breakfast, which was delicious, but I would have liked to have been able to choose the standard eggs and bacon instead.

This Autumn will be our first time having children, and we couldn't be more excited! I was looking for a fun activity for my wifes girlfriends birthday. With a group of friends and family, I decided to spend a weekend at Towell's Inn. It was the most gorgeous and relaxing weekend I've ever had! Suzan and Mike couldn't have been more welcoming and considerate! Between the pub, restaurant, books, and evening bonfires, we couldn't have had more opportunities to spend time as a family or relax by the fire in a corner. Besides my wife and I made return visits to the inn, I have recommended the inn to many friends.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Powell inn. The room was nice and very clean. It had a homey feel to it. All the guest areas are so nice. You feel like you've stepped back in time. Sitting on the fron upper porch was so nice. Breakfast that was provided the next morning was so good. Christina who is one of the proprietors is very pleasant and genuinely seemed appreciative that we stayed there. She was very helpful in educating us about the area and where to go. She was very friendly and also told us about the great history of the home. Beds are very comfortable. You know it's a good place when the locals love visiting there. I would highly recommend staying there. Further date of stay 2022.

The service was once more outstanding. Breakfast was excellent as well, particularly when there was a cooked option. It hit the spot when I would return for a romantic getaway. Early in November, we enjoyed a wonderful twonight stay at the Towells Inn. Everything about our stay, from quick, warm checkups to a nice gift, was warm and pleasant. The inn itself is stunning, and we loved the location being a little more off the beaten path. Renovations have been handcrafted with care! Highlights lin in our suite was cozy and opulent, and we particularly enjoyed bathing in the wellappointed bathroom. The upper terrace had excellent access, and we enjoyed catching the sunset. Every night, I read my novel in the comfy chair in the living room because it was cozy! Particularly at dinner, food was fantastic. We had to wait for a table, but it was amazing to see the inn being so busy, so it wasnt an issue.

The location was excellent because I love old, historic inns. The owner was incredibly kind, and the rooms were breathtaking. We enjoyed evenings sitting on the porch and enjoying breakfast in the charming little pub. We went to Esmeralda for dinner during the day while touring Manchester. Back at the inn, we went to sleep with a cap. Excellent location to explore both Ludlow and Chester. The inn lacked charm and a warm ambiance. Without a doubt, we will return.
