The outside is deceptive a bit but the rooms are top notch and clean. A good stay for the price.

The room was bigger than some other places I’ve been and the beds were comfy. Everything was clean and we actually really enjoyed it. One of the best prices I’ve paid in a long time for the quality.

The motel was a good one night stay for us. My only suggestion to any potential guests is they only provide 2 pillows so bring more if you need more. The stay was peaceful and gave us a straight shot to downtown. Definitely a good deal.

Clean room, staff excellent, AC worked good. Great for a short or long stay. Location easy to find. Price was very affordable. Several restaurants and bars nearby. Not far from Indiana University. Would definitely stay there again.

Very clean room with new to newer carpet and beds. Friendly staff. Did I mention clean, like spotless, like better than Courtyard Marriotts I stay at. Bravo and thank you to ownership.

Room was very clean and tidy. Just redid bathroom was nice - mastic smell was a little strong! Lady at Front Desk was very nice and also helped getting our rooms tv!

Friendly staff that welcomed you and asked how your drive in was. Totally worth the price and neat to park right by your door..like the good old days. Shower was a nice tile and large.

Excellent experience. Clean, quiet, cheap. Daily cleaning. If you're on a budget and don't need amenities beyond a coffee maker, tv, fridge and microwave, you cannot do better than the Royal Motel. Updated bathrooms, exceptionally comfortable bed and pillows. I will always stay here when I visit the Indianapolis area. 10/10.

We made a last second reservation after not being abke to find anything in Indianapolis. Turns out it was a great choice! The Royal Motel isnt fancy, but its clean, quiet and felt safe. The staff was friendly, and cleaned daily. We stayed for most of a week and had no complaints. If youre in the area this is a good choice.

We stopped here for one night. Our room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was just how we like it, firm, not too soft and the pillows comfortable. We could control the a/c to get the room to a comfortable temperature. I liked that we could park right by our door. We had no safety issues. The staff were friendly and courteous. The next day we were off to our destination.
