Super clean room with an adorable coastal cottage aesthetic. The breakfast burritos and egg plates were delicious! Super hearty and filling. The room was so clean and the bed was extremely comfy. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in several hotels during our two week trip to California, and this was one of our absolute favorites. The staff were warm and friendly. It felt more like were were in a cozy bed and breakfast. The room was beautiful and inviting. We will definitely stay here again next time we are there.

The inn is so close to the beach, you can hear the waves all night if you keep the windows open. That being said, the area is super quiet, and relaxing. This was our return trip and we are already planning a third.

Our room had everything we needed as well as a beautiful view. This hotel pays attention to detail. The bathroom was very clean. Even the rubber mat for the shower floor was clean and dry. It was stored underneath the sink and I had to put it in the shower myself which made me think that they provide a clean mat for each new guest. Overall the room was very comfortable. We liked that there was a microwave to heat up our restaurant left overs. This is usually a problem when we travel and we end up throwing away a lot of good food because there is no way to reheat it. Nice fresh coffee in the lobby early in the morning. Or you could make it in your room. The breakfast was a nice touch too. Though, I wish they had an option to get just toast - my personnel preference. When we checked in, I had a slight problem with the room. My husband did not. But the staff was very gracious and quickly found us another room and didn't make a big deal of it. She just wanted to make sure that we were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and was very knowledgeable about the area too. There is a nice binder in the lobby with recommendations and menus for restaurants in the area. Unfortunately we only spent 1 night and the weather was very chilly and windy so we did not get to walk on the beach across the street. We plan to do that another time. We liked it so much that we booked another stay with them before we left.

Inn cozy, clean, staff friendly. Breakfast can take it for later. Walk path right in front. 7 miles from Hearst Castle. 5 miles to town.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was excellent, the room was clean and comfortable, and the hot breakfast was great. What made the stay especially memorable, though, was the time I shared with my family here. After a long drive that day, we really appreciated that our request for a quiet room was fully accommodated, and we were given a room with a partial beach view. Shortly after we arrived, we went outside just in time for sunset and watched the sun go down over the ocean. My family and I then took a quiet walk along the beach and around the hotel, enjoying the peaceful evening together. It became one of those simple but unforgettable family memories. I’m very grateful to the hotel for helping make our stay memorable.

Sand Pebbles was excellent. The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was delivered to our room at the time we requested. They provided more than the standard amenities. I would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay at Sand Pebbles Inn! Our room was beautiful with a super comfortable bed. The location was perfect- we loved being right across from the beach. The breakfast wrap was delicious. I would absolutely stay here again.
