The room was very quiet and clean. The AC worked great and the room was comfortable. The location was great. It was close to the shops, bars and a couple wineries. We really enjoyed our stay.

The view was not great of the lake, I would choose the city view next time! But it was a wonderful stay, very clean, although I walked around bare footed and had dirt on my feet. The vinyl flooring did have some sandy dirt on it, but it is a beach town! It was exceptionally clean and maintained though apart from that, and no big issues!! So important. I would stay again 100% worth it!

Expedia stated that this property has a rooftop deck to watch the sunset. This property does NOT have a rooftop deck. The listing should be fixed. This property is in an extremely convenient location with free parking in easy walking distance to the beach and many nice shops. I would stay here again! Beautiful place for a vacation!

I was really worried after I read all the bad reviews on google. It’s an older hotel but our room had been updated and the couch and bed were both comfy. Pillows were on the firmer side but I always take my own. Even though we were on the top floor our room stayed nice and cool in the very hot day.. Loved that it was close to the shopping. A little bit of a walk to get to the beach but we never made it down there. Would highly recommend hotel. We enjoyed our stay and glad we didn’t listen to reviews. Front desk and cleaning people all very nice and helpful.

Staying at Silver Beach Hotel was very enjoyable. The staff was very helpful and it was very easy to park in this downtown area. We loved having a view of Lake Michigan as well as being able to enjoy walking on the Bluff / experiencing downtown St. Joe without having to move our car. The breakfast was very basic, however, without a lot of choices. We ended up going to one of the many coffee shops in the area.
