We were greeted by a spotless hotel when we first arrived. The manager on duty was an exceptionally professional man. The check-in process took a while because their system was down. The manager offered us an unlimited selection of snacks based on this. The area was immaculate and had a pleasant fragrance. The environment is older, but that is fine. Everything in the room was as it ought to be. Within 15 minutes of checking out, the manager asked if we were happy with the accommodation. We were, and we genuinely felt that phone call. This is a cheap place to spend the night.

We booked a cheap hotel with one of the best amenities in Congee Rd. Although we only stay for two nights, this hotel was comfortable, quiet, and tidy, and does a great job even though the pool is closed due to city restrictions. I see, this hotel has tiny twisters in the rooms, but what else should I want when in Congee?

The front desk staff did not provide a decent front desk person, but she was quite nice and curt and brief when we told him we would not have a hot breakfast in 2020 given the pool being closed and the couid procedure. The room was awful, with rust on the desk and bed lamps, no drain stopper in the sink, to remote control in an ice bucket plastic bag, and bags of trash in the front parking lot near the entrance. There was a coffee maker in the room, which I can't remember, despite the fact that it was not couid protocol. Although the entire breakfast area was closed for visitors, coffee makers were set up there for self-service. Is this even couid procedure? Also, they stated that housekeeping would only be offered after three days. The view was obscured by the exterior window in our room 204, which was painted over with a primer-style paint. Another issue was that all of the upper-floor machines were out of commission, and the ice maker was on the ground floor. Overall, this location is unkempt, understaffed, poorly maintained, and not taken care of by proprietor. It would be better to be a 1 star, avoid it at and the cost. Within a one-block radius, there are a number of lovely homes.
