Cute picturesque property on sea cliff. Older but clean and well maintained. On site restaurant is wonderful. Perfect pool and hot tub. Close drive to downtown Pismo Beach.

Great location. Room was clean and well appointed. We had a downstairs patio and you could see and hear the ocean easily. Beautiful view and a nice walkway with fire pits all near. Definitely will be back.

Clean, no longer serve breakfast, but several restaurants are within walking distance. Pool and Spa very nice. Hot coffee, tea and apples available at front desk. We were truly appreciative to have a late check out due to a medical emergency. Dipollo's Italian deli is very good, wines, baked goods, sandwiches charcuterie and prepared Italian dishes, open until 10pm. There is a very nice brick path, that you can stroll along, with seating, beautiful view of the ocean and bay. There are fire pits all along the path with chairs. If you walk past Spyglass, Dolphin Bay and The Cliffs Hotels the path leads to a grass area and an opening to beach access. Steep path and stairs down to the beach. Well worth the hike!

Basic and comfortable. Very clean. Brought our dogs and had a ground floor room facing the ocean. The grass and fire pits area was gorgeous and relaxing. The restaurant connected to the hotel, the Westerly, was awesome. Definitely coming back.

What a wonderful little gem. Super clean, and comfortable. Great AC for such a hot few days. There is no microwave in the rooms, but there is one in their adorable little lobby that is easily accessible where you can also find coffee and deliciously refreshing fruit infused water for guests. The pool and hot tub were also clean and well kept and felt great. We will definitely be coming back here again. Beds are comfortable and the balcony was such a cool place to relax in the evening or early morning. Fire pits were an awesome addition as was the delicious restaurant in the parking lot. It really is everything that you could want and need for a little vacation or staycation.

This place was located in a beautiful area, the rooms were clean, everything in the room worked, and the staff were sooo nice. Easy access to the beach, the restaurants next to the place were reasonably priced and were so good! I’d definitely come back.

The room was great, location was easy to find and just a short walk to the beach. We only got stay one night but would love to revisit and spend more time at the pool and beach fire pits. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a great stay and excellent beach front facility in Pismo Beach.

The Spyglass Inn is the perfect location for your getaway! It’s located on the border of Shell Beach and Pismo Beach. I stayed at the Spyglass Inn for a different experience as I didn’t want to stay in the busy downtown Pismo Beach area. And I wanted the gorgeous view of the ocean, scenery and the quiet location. The new restaurant, The Westerly, is located on the hotel premises. It has the best view of the ocean and scenery from the patio. There are several restaurants nearby as the other (3) hotels next door located along the cliff offer food and cocktails and there’s a sushi restaurant and deli across the street that makes delicious sandwiches, and they sell wine and all kinds of snacks, cheese and goodies. The Spyglass Inn has S’mores kits you can buy and make them in the evening at the fire pits on the property. A swimming pool and hot tub too! I’ll be back for sure!

The property was situated beautifully with exceptional views. The fire pits were great! The hotel and certainly the walkways just felt dirty the walkways looked like they had not been power washed in years. The views made up for any shortcomings elsewhere.
