The staff was so friendly and the rooms were really close walking distance from everything we barely moved our car during our stay! The rooms could be slightly cleaner but they were very comfortable and the no A/C was no problem for us. I would definitely stay here again!

I love this simple , rustic , but amazing little hotel. Right on the beach, easy walk to the beach area, playground , restaurants , seven eleven. Staff is great , gentleman that stays in the office is very friendly and helpful. I stayed in a room with 2 separated areas.

Neil was an awesome and gracious host. He found a room even when hotels.com had booked the room for next year somehow and let us stay for the same price. The room is perfect for a getaway weekend close to skiing particularly if you want a more budget-friendly place to stay. The bed was comfortable and the sink/vanity looked new - there was also a mini-fridge and microwave in the room. The tubs/showers could use some renovations, but we did not mind given the convenience. My daughter also enjoyed the room and found it comfortable. Overall, it's what we were looking for to save some money and enjoy time of the slopes. We'll be back!

Really close to Crystal Bay casino for shows. It's a small mom-pa place. It's not extravagant if that's what you're looking for. Perfect for going to North shore sitting on the beach and catching a show at night.

I enjoy the reasonable pricing, quietness, great location and friendly customer service. The hotel is a throw-back, it's older, an original. I like that it still has the old Tahoe vibe and is always clean. I stay here frequently and it's always a clean bed to sleep in, and easy walk to the beach, easy parking and my Granddaughter loves Char Pit is next door, great burgers. Our routine is long beach day, burgers at Char Pit and then off to bed. Love it!

I’m hiking Tahoe Rim Trail and use this as a resupply stop. It’s well positioned for either Blockaway Summit or Mount Rose. The people are very friendly and kind storing my material for my pick up. Room is large. Nice bathroom has a pool and chairs.
