We had a wonderful stay at the Stilwell Hotel in Carmel! The location was absolutely perfect—we were able to walk everywhere, from the shops and restaurants to the beach. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the staff was welcoming and attentive. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Carmel!

Very clean and pretty atmosphere from outdoors to indoors. Very classy. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Upon arrival, there was complimentary champagne. We booked the Mountain View, it won’t disappoint, from the balcony, to the deep tub, huge walk-in shower, dry bar that has coffee maker and fridge, a couch and seating area. Very spacious and very clean. I highly recommend. Also, they have free breakfast in the morning from 8am-10am. Nice seating outside as well by the Fire and Water feature. You can make S’mores, but bring your own supplies. Great stay, we enjoyed it!

The hotel was clean and well-appointed. The staff were warm, kind, and helpful. We appreciated and enjoyed the daily breakfast; the food was fresh and well-prepared. Our only minor issue was a lack of water pressure in our shower and sometimes a lack of hot water. Overall, wonderful experience.

We were very happy with the clean and inviting atmosphere. The staff was helpful and breakfast was great! Parking and an electric charger was the icing on the cake after a long drive from Crescent City.

Absolutely amazing stay at The Stilwell Hotel. We were greeted with a seamless and friendly check-in as well as champagne on arrival, and everything felt thoughtful and elevated throughout. The rooms were clean, well stocked and the beds were divine. Loved the cozy patio with fire pits, nightly fresh made pizzas, cocktail service, and blankets, plus the included breakfast each morning was top notch (best elevated hotel breakfast I have EVER had)! The concierge texting service was incredibly convenient and responsive when needed. This was a place to remember and we would absolutely stay again!

This was a fantastic place to stay for us on our trip to Carmel-by-the-Sea! The hotel was right in the middle of town and made walking around the area really easy. There was plenty of parking at the hotel. Staff was super friendly. The best part of our stay was the fantastic breakfast variety and oven fired pizza that was included daily! This is definitely where we’ll be staying on our future trips to Carmel or Monterey :)

Seamless check in experience, centrally located on a charming street, well sized parking lot, clean rooms and common area with fire pits to grab a wine + pizza in the evening and/or breakfast in the morning. The lobby also sells bottles of wine to hang out with.

Great location and amenities. Was little desapointed about the noise from the next door staff room Close to the front desk, wish they could have moved me to a different room even the hotel seems not busy

Stayed here a few times before and have always enjoyed the property. Location is perfect off the main Ocean ave. So quiet and comfortable. The outdoor area fire ad water features make for a nice ambiance.
