Wonderful resort! We booked through hotels.com and got an excellent price and the property was really nice! The check-in was somewhat a hassle due to staff marketing and trying to sell us a timeshare. The male associate was rude when I wasn't interested and said, "You act like you don't want to hear what I have to say." I then explained that was because I am not interested in a time share. "I know all about the spill with trying to market but I did not come on vacation to spend 2 hours in a meeting to buy a time share." We were disappointment that the water park area was out of commission and looks to be not working for a long period of time. We used the indoor pool and the small outdoor pool, but the expectation was that the water park with slides/splash pads was in use but was not!

We have been going to Stormy Point for years. The facilities are nice but cabins do need some sprucing up. There are onsite activities including a nice pool area not yet open while we were there. I expect things are a bit different during peak summer months.

I love this place!!!! It offers a safe, friendly, relaxed, slow paced and attractive environment. The staff is down to earth, welcoming and ready to assist. The cottages are very cozy, clean, beautifully furnaced and fully equipped with everything you need to set up house. The grounds are lovely. Shopping and excursions activities are near by. Lunch and dinner (kids meals) are reasonably priced. There is music and some on-site entertainment. Check-in and checkout was hassle free. I was invited to a vacation presentation and Capitol Vacations is the only one that I ever found to be truly hassle free. Most are stressful, unethical, pushy and disrespectful. This was not the case with Capitol Vacations. They delivered on what they promised. Awesome experience! I would definitely stay at Stormy brook in the future.

This was a great location and the unit was amazing. There was only 2 issues that we had but we didn’t worry about them actually. It seemed that you would run out of hot water if attempting to fill the jetted bath tub but if you turn the water off and waited about 5 minutes or so it heated back up fast. The other the central air had problems keeping cool. With us in and out opening windows with the temperature while we were there was adequate. If we were there longer we probably would have asked for these items to be fixed or a different cottage. We definitely will be looking to stay here on our next trip.

Really nothing to complain about except for tiny things that really don’t matter. I would highly recommend and if I ever traveled to Branson Missouri again this would be the place I would stay.

This is a beautiful place to stay. We had a two bedroom cottage and we loved it. We came during spring break weekend and they had one indoor pool open and one outdoor pool open which was nice because it was hot when we were there. We also went down to the dock at the lake and it had a nice view. We also enjoyed going up in the lighthouse. I would definitely recommend staying there and will stay again in the future.

We loved our little cottage! Only complaint would be you don't get a lot of toiletries. I had to purchase my own. And no seasonings in the kitchen besides a tiny salt and pepper. But other than that, we loved it. We had a great experience. And we will be coming back for another stay.
