It's a small hotel which was fairly priced for a 4th of July weekend. I stayed there because I spent most of the time at a close by condominium where my friends own units. Not on the bayside or ocean-so if you are looking for sunset/water views or swimming in the water- this is not for you! Clean and good AC Nice diner -Mangrove Mikes next door for breakfast/lunch!

The hotel staff were nice, and the pool is wonderful. They are currently doing renovations, but our room was overall very nice. They chose to install floating tile floors, which is a bad idea for the bathroom where the spray from the shower collects on the floor because they don't have a shower door. I suspect that might cause problems in the future. My one real complaint is about Expedia. The purchase says "final price" but there was a $11.25 resort fee charged at checkout for each night which was not included in Expedia's deal.

My husband and I made a dinner reservation and set off on foot to go there, but the online address was wrong and NOTHING was at that location but an out-of-business store. Soooooo, we hiked back to Sunset Inn and explained that this was a birthday/anniversary dinner. The desk clerk gave us better walking directions (a half-mile shorter) and called the restaurant to explain the situation and let them we were on our way. We had a lovely dinner. And Sunset Inn was a most comfortable stay -- great a/c and shower and TV and comfy bed with good pillows.

Always a great time @ Sunset Inn, weve been here twice and love everything from the clean rooms, friendly staff, very comfortable rooms and great pool! The best is their location, right in the middle of everything in Islamorada! Looking forward to our return!

Lovely little hotel, walking distance to a couple of bars and restaurants for a bayside sunset. Free parking, friendly staff, great pool area. Only negatives was the air con was very noisy and any rooms on the ground floor are a little dark. But overall we had a fab stay and well worth the money.

Staff was amazing. There was an issue with our key card entry which they were unable to repair during our stay. We were upgraded to another room at with no additional charges.

Staff very accommodating. Nice pool area. Live the location in Islamorada close to everything. Cold air in rooms and comfortable bed. Had a very nice stay.
