Highly recommend. We stayed here for two nights in January. The staff went above and beyond to recommend places to eat in the area, which are very few at this time of year. The bear claw bakery next door is a big hit for breakfast.

I highly recommend this place. To find genuine and helpful people in such a great place, you will look a long and hard way. These days, we all seem to have too much agendas. I think that places like this will make you realize how great it is to have a real escape.

The hotel is clean, the beds are comfortable, the management is friendly. Simple but good breakfast. We rented a bike for a trail ride. Cook town was a nice little town a few miles from Moon Valley where we had the chance to see many buffalo herds.

We stayed in Room 211, which was a bit difficult to find because it wasn't in numerical order like the rest of the rooms. The toilet was probably one of the loudest I've ever heard. Wifi was very weak. It might just be the area. Which is terrible for any kind of communication. Breakfast was the best we have had on our current trip. GR super 8 in a row with no elevator. Wyndham is trying to kill us old people.

As frequently as I can to unplug, I fully understand that due to the remoteness of this location, there is no cell service, no radio or signals apart from satellite, and incredibly slow wifi. So, in my humble opinion, youre not arriving here for the right reasons if you are coming here expecting all that tech to work like it does in the big city. Having said that, the hotel offers satellite and wifi, but keep in mind that the wifi is likely via del with a limited bandwidth due to the remote location, so if youre attempting to get work done on your phone during busy morning hours when all the other guests are planning their days in and around the park, youre likely to be disappointed. Youll get a much better wifi signal if you wait until a little later when most of the other guests are out. Its the way it is. In this lovely countryside, youre out in the sticks. This is not the fault of the hotel. There is also no air conditioning in the hotel, but I am of scandinavian heritage and prefer leaving the window open all night, which is very pleasant given the lower nighttime temperatures. There are a few restaurants close to the hotel in Cook City and Silver Gate, both of which are a short distance or drive from the Belmont Highway. This is our second year staying here in September, and both visits have been very successful and
